Let's talk today about how to breathe properly during push-ups. As they say, "You breathe a nose – you stand still, you breathe a mouth – you take a step to death". Therefore, during exercise, it is especially important not to breathe air with your mouth.
In any exercise, it is important that the breath was attuned to the exercise itself. The breath shouldn’t lose, it must be in the rhythm of the exercise to the end of the approach (with the exception of the cardio). At least this way, you won't be able to do a full push-up.
In the first time is to follow your breath during the exercises, until it becomes automatic.
Imagine that you are going to do push-ups for the first time! Take your starting position, focus. Talk and look around during push-ups shouldn’t be, and it is not recommended to hold your breath (it can even lead to loss of consciousness).
So, when you go down, gradually inhale. During the climb – out. This scheme works in all power exercises: in the negative phase of inhalation, in the positive – exhalation.
Why? A powerful exhalation in the positive phase allows you to unbend your hands with less effort.
