In this German Course lesson you will learn how you can react when someone is lying to you. I don't want to say that Germans are liars. But sometimes it can also happen in Germany that someone is lying to you

(In dieser Deutschkurs Lektion lernst du, wie du reagieren kannst, wenn dich jemand anlügt. Ich möchte nicht sagen, dass Deutsche Lügner sind. Aber manchmal kann es auch in Deutschland passieren, dass dich jemand anlügt.)

• You lie! - Du lügst!
• That's not true. - Das stimmt nicht.
• That's a lie. - Das ist eine Lüge.
• You're a liar. - Du bist ein Lügner.
• I don't believe you. - Ich glaube Dir nicht.
• Please tell me the truth. - Sag mir bitte die Wahrheit.
• I will check that. - Ich werde das überprüfen.
• I ask someone else. - Ich frage jemand anderes.
• I can no longer trust you. - Ich kann dir nicht mehr vertrauen.
• Why are you doing this? - Warum tust du das?
• I tell your mother. - Das sage ich Deiner Mutter.
• I am very disappointed in you. - Ich bin sehr enttäuscht von dir.
• I thought we were friends. - Ich dachte wir wären Freunde.
• For this I will punish you. - Dafür werde ich dich bestrafen.
• You have to promise me not to lie anymore. - Du musst mir versprechen nicht mehr zu lügen.
• Lies have short legs. - Lügen haben kruze Beine.
• A liar will not be believed, even when he speaks the truth. - Wer einmal lügt, dem glaubt man nicht, und wenn er auch die Wahrheit spricht.
