Mar 25 -- Steemit Ramble #84 -- Don't You Hate Missing Good Posts?
Well the STEEM birthday edition was my longest Ramble ever. Today’s will be more the usual length. The price of STEEM has drifted down some from where it was a week ago. Yesterday, the new VP of Marketing at Steemit Inc. Indicated there will be an announcement made next week. Going to be interesting to see what that is.
There are still some birthday posts floating about. If I see some I like, I’ll add them in here today.

@immarojas captures photos of a squirrel playing in a tree. I’ve watched them play in trees, often amazed at how lightening quick they move and the flimsiness of what they grab onto. Watching him play as she walked through the park coming from a funeral set her to contemplating. A brief but thoughtful post.

I finally dipped my toe into trying some crypto trading. Just small and cautious moves but it’s a start. Considering I’d barely heard about crytocurrency before I found Steemit, it’s a big step for me.

The silver lining-
The fact that there are enough posts that are GOOD that you can miss some good ones could also be looked at as a good thing.
It'd be worse if we went days with no good posts, and then we miss the rare exception. I don't think that is really the case. People think a lot here on steemit and I for one love it. So when we miss a good post, think of the silver lining.
Some day hopefully there are so many good posts that we miss a lot of them. :)
I think a lot of people underestimate just how many good posts are here on the platform. I know I end up filtering through a lot of lousy to mediocre to get to the ones I select but that doesn't mean there isn't a lot of good stuff to find.
