Good Afternoon, fellow Crypto Enthusiasts!

From where I left off with you all last, it was Friday August 18 around 4:10 PM EST. In almost 3 days, Bitcoin has not moved much (although Bitcoin Cash has improved in value, and some may believe this is having an effect on the price of BTC). On the other hand, Ethereum has grown more than 10% (details below)! Litecoin has moved up and down, with a mostly flat overall change.

August 21, 2017, Around 12:30 PM EST

  • Bitcoin (BTC) is at $4,017.65, $82.35 Lower than at the same time yesterday, or Down 2.01%
  • Ethereum (ETH) is at $334.50, $40.98 Higher than at the same time yesterday, or Up 13.96%
  • Litecoin (LTC) is at $46.55, $0.18 Higher than at the same time yesterday, or Up 0.39%

August 18, 2017, Around 4:10 PM EST

  • Bitcoin (BTC) is at $4,063.96, $226.12 Lower than at the same time yesterday, or Down 5.27%
  • Ethereum (ETH) is at $292.01, $8.86 Lower than at the same time yesterday, or Down 2.94%
  • Litecoin (LTC) is at $44.30, $0.72 Higher than at the same time yesterday, or Up 1.65%

August 18, 2017, Around 8:50 AM EST

  • Bitcoin (BTC) is at $4,302.00, $136.66 Lower than at the same time yesterday, or Down 3.08%
  • Ethereum (ETH) is at $304.24, $4.16 Lower than at the same time yesterday, or Down 1.35%
  • Litecoin (LTC) is at $46.56, $1.86 Higher than at the same time yesterday, or Up 4.16%

Let's review each coin's performance since ~4:10 PM EST on the 18th:

  • Bitcoin (BTC): Starting at $4,063.96 and currently sitting at $4,017.65, there has been a Net Decrease in Value of $46.31, or 1.14% since Friday.
  • Ethereum (ETH): Starting at $292.01 and currently sitting at $334.50, there has been a Net Increase in Value of $42.49, or 14.55% since Friday.
  • Litecoin (LTC): Starting at $44.30 and currently sitting at $46.55, there has been a Net Increase in Value of $2.25, or 5.08% since Friday.

Evolved08gsr's Trend Follow-Up

  • Bitcoin dropped between the 12:00 AM to 1:00 AM EST time slot and increased during the 4:00 AM to 5:00 AM EST time slots overnight, ending up mostly flat, albeit slightly down from the start of 12:00 AM EST.
  • Overnight Friday-into-Saturday, Bitcoin dropped between both the 12:00 AM to 1:00 AM EST and 4:00 AM to 5:00 AM EST time slots.
  • Overnight Saturday-into-Sunday, Bitcoin dropped between the 12:00 AM to 1:00 AM EST time slot and increased during the 4:00 AM to 5:00 AM EST time slots overnight, ending up mostly flat, albeit slightly up from the start of 12:00 AM EST.
  • There was NO dip in Bitcoin leading up the 7:00 PM hour last night, followed by a sharp decline immediately following 7:00 PM EST.
  • Ethereum has been in a steady climb since about 10:00 PM EST on Sunday Night.
  • Ethereum and Litecoin continue to lack consistent trends.
  • All 3 coins seem to be trending in their own directions, with no similar patterns across the coins.
