Contest, at last...

I have been working on finding a way to get more people involved here on SteemIt inside of my Posts, wondering what I might be able to do different, and really just been thinking about a way to start up a contest.

My wife and I went over to "Sprouts" it is a grocery store my wife loves to go to. She was looking to get a couple items today to make dinner, and I do love the little bags they have of the Lemon Snaps, Ginger Snaps etc, they have a good variety of flavors. Well, I stumbled upon this bag and I just had to pick it up.

I took it home and like most times the bag for me is gone in one sitting. Don't worry I will still be 130 pounds tomorrow even after eating the whole bag alone. That aside as I was eating the cute little Gingerbread Man cookies, I thought I would make a cool post, I figured it would be fun and attempt to be creative at the same time.

It really did take 4 of them to hold up the phone. I was just thinking of ways to raise SteemIt.

So while thinking of how to start that post and create a story from the little guys as I ate them, I came up with a brilliant idea, more of a contest.

Things needed for this contest

Official contest rules

1. By entering, you are giving me full permission to use your entry however I see fit.
2. Please keep all photography safe for children and G-rated, but feel free to have some fun and get creative.
3. Your picture should be free of any thing that is generally considered to be inappropriate for small children.
4. Your picture needs to include a Gingerbread Man.
5. It must also have a SteemIt Logo.
6. You have until Midnight (PST) on Wednesday night to enter your picture.
7. The judge will be my wife @wander-woman.
8. Though you are more than welcome to make a post out of your entry, your entry picture must be submitted to the contest by replying to this post. Any attempt at entering that is not in a reply below by Midnight (PST) Wednesday 12/21/2016 will not be valid.

Other thing to consider

• All comments or replies to a picture may be taken into consideration.
• Number of votes on a picture will not affect the outcome, since these can be placed by bots.
• A title or sentence to go with the picture so others might know what you were thinking when it was created.
• Being that it is my wife who is the judge there really is no way to know what she will be looking for, so good luck and have fun.

Amount that can be won

Based on the current amount of SBD I do have I will set the prizes low unfortunately. Since I have enough SBD to cover these amounts here is what the prizes will be, unless someone else wishes to add to the pot. So far that means there is 1.75 SBD that can be won.

Based on the success of this post I plan to have another contest, and I hope that in time I can begin to increase the amounts of these payouts. I set this post with a 50/50 payout in hopes I can keep this competition on going in the future.
