A Favorite Freewrite

Every Tuesday, you have a chance to win a membership to Steem Basic Income, SBI, at the Freewrite House.

Try to win one, my friends. An everlasting vote on your posts is nothing to sneeze at.

We want to make it super easy for you. Your task is to tell us in the comment section about one - or more- freewrites of others you have read in the last couple of days you really liked. Yup, not your own!!

The comment must be at least 50 words long - no upper limit 🤪

See the rules below for details.

In an ideal world, you also give that person a nice upvote - but we are not going to check on that.

To be entered into the drawing, go to the Daily Prompt post by @mariannewest. We are doing our best to resteem them to the Freewrite house profile.
Read as many Freewrites as you can. Then tell us about a freewrite you really liked and why.
Choose from the last couple of days if possible so others can go, visit, and, inspired by your description, leave a vote.

I came across this FreeWrite and got sucked into Harris' world. First he was immersed in making sense of calculus, then his mother's cries and his father's anger. I was dragged into his thoughts, his feelings, his need for closure to the situation. I felt what he felt, I saw what he saw. And I held his hand as he nursed and then executed his wish. Read @joeylim's story here ...

@kaerpediem thanks loads for the support 😊😊

I have to recommend a post by @felt.buzz because I almost died laughing at my phone reading his story. Most of you know his humor by now, but his creativity deserves reading over and over. Who else can write about shit in such a creative way? I am so glad freewriting brought us all together so I could be so entertained! [thanks @mariannewest!]

I would also like to steer you over to @wordymouth over his freewrite on crank today. Beautiful image caught my eye, and we are put over a ledge of a cliff right at the start! Tension buildup is great and a cliffhanger awaits! Those selfies can be dangerous!

Today I would like to recommend a #freewrite by @d00k13 on the prompt "crank". He provided excellent advice for being prepared during the Canadian winter's. From a small heater in your car on low overnight, to buying the best battery possible for your car. Plus I didn't know that salty water is used to unfreeze locks. I guess that's why I live in San Antonio Texas, we get 15 cold days a year. 🤣🤣🤣 Now go visit cold @d00k13 and warm him up with your love. 💕

Love received 🥰

I have 2 to recommend. First one is by @wandernrose7, written using the prompt crank, which has the perfect title. The constant complainer in the story is never satisfied and doesn't have anything nice to say, and how I do love where it gets him in the end. It was a perfect ending.

The next one was written by @shanedustin. I love how this story was written and I could feel the pent up anger of one of the characters who doesn't know why he is so angry. Not now anyway but I think we will find out. Luckily, this is the first part of a continuing story, using the new daily prompts.

In these doomy gloomy days of bear markets and Steemit layoffs, I think we can all do with a good old laugh, and I certainly got a chuckle from this stinky little rhyme by my esteemed partner in prompt delivery @whatisnew written in response to the crank prompt. She says it is inspired by @brisby and @omra-sky, but I'm hazarding no guess as to which of them is Hank!

I second Deirdy's recommendation!
Also, pretty sure I'm Hank. 😉 (Meanwhile, Brisby has read her friend's hilarious rhymes and is cooking up something special just for her.)😁

Thanks brisby! I sure do love your special something! : )

Thanks so much partner! : )

We need to include this one!!! https://steemit.com/music/@bennettitalia/n1z0qdv0

@bennettitalia has created a challenge for himself to create a daily song in 30 minutes. This prompt threw him a little bit - you have to watch the video to see his reaction - and he wrote this powerful song!!

I'm recommending this one by @bennettitalia.

I see you already got another one by him @mariannewest. @bennettitalia is on fire despite your crazy prompts for this week.

His song is awesome for this one too, and his post made me laugh and remember another one you came up with last year sometime. You will have to look at my comment over there to see which one.

In spite of this strange prompt, bennettitalia has knocked it out of the park. We have a real talent here, so be sure to come up with something bizarre for tomorrow and I'm sure he will make magic again :)

Lol thank you so much @fitinfun! The prompt today ended up being a fairly simple one...but then I wondered if THAT was going to trip me up!
