Cryptocurrency Incubator Workshops, Presentations & Event Roster
Sndbox is a multimedia incubator that leverages the Steem blockchain to empower impactful and creative projects. The Event Roster is a compilation of all Sndbox workshops, activities and programs in New York City and abroad.
Public Workshops
Our team operates out of New York City and in an effort to maximize the impact of Steemit, we host recurring workshops and events. These activities range from casual gatherings to comprehensive walkthroughs of Steem and the surrounding blockchain world.
Summer Streets Festival
 | Summer Streets is a yearly festival in New York City where the Department of Transportation invites artists, musicians and institutions to host public workshops. New York City Department of Transportation Arts Program invited @sndbox to showcase the STEEM Park project and host an art workshop. Link here. |

Steem Park Incubation Workshop
 | Hosted by WOMP Studios in Brooklyn, New York. This public workshop covered the basics of Steemit, the Steem ecosystem and methods for using cryptocurrency to empower creative practice.  | Hosted by 100 Bogart, a brand new and beautiful co-working space in Brooklyn. This comprehensive workshop covered the essentials of Steemit, a walkthrough of features, techniques and strategies.  | Hosted by the Artist Co-op in Manhattan, our team met and presented to a diverse group of creative professionals. Topics revolved around how the art world is being transformed through blockchain technology; we covered copywriting, information sharing, and intellectual property among many other topics. Our team strives to build engagement through lecture series’ and academic talks. We actively contact and seek out organizations and companies that we think would benefit greatly by the Steem blockchain. These efforts open opportunities for Sndbox to integrate impactful endeavors with proven missions and track records of success.

Our team invited prominent local Steemians to present on their experiences with social-media blockchain and what work they've been pursuing within the community; we covered STEEM Park in NYC and Seoul as well as future impact projects. The Creative Blockchain Meetup Group
Sndbox also maintains an official Meetup group: The Creative Blockchain NYC that serves as the ongoing event and discussion board for public New York-based activities. We welcome the general public - those both experienced on Steemit and complete newcomers - to learn about different components of the Steemit platform, Sndbox incubator, and blockchain impact on creative professions. We host Monthly Happy Hours and invite you to our next event!
