"Children of ???..." - Daily Word #75
Imagine being born into a wonderful family...
And after years of living with ones that love and care for you, you one day decide to turn your back and disown your parents/siblings -- like you never knew them.
That is what's happening to the world today. We have lost our identity. We have rejected our origin.
Perhaps we are more open to accept that we are a part of the evolutionary amoeba or the ape family. Or maybe we just believe in the concept of reincarnation in the continuous cycle of life.
I believe in only One Truth. The WORD of God.
Why? Because the Word of God is God Himself, becoming flesh as He chose to dwell among His Creation. I was not born into a Christian family, but God in His Wisdom reached out to me when I needed Him Most. He has always been the One who was there, even when I was not ready to receive Him.
Today, I'm impressed to share this amazing Truth, that you too can believe and receive. John 1:10-13 (the Passion Translation), was written almost 2000 years ago but it tells the exact truth of our human race today vis-a-vis how we approach the "concept of God".
"He entered into the very world he created, yet the world was unaware. He came to the very people he created to those who should have recognized him, but they did not receive him. Source
"But those who embraced him and took hold of His Name, were given authority to become the Children of God!" Source
God has reached out His Hand to us.
God has come and showed us His Love.
God is ready and willing to accept us back, and give us this amazing right to Reign with Him for ALL eternity!
Will you receive Him as your Abba Father?
Will you receive your Fullness in Him, as a Child of God?
This is the one life that you have been given. It's your time now.
