There are many things that make people go Hmmm... every high moral, ethical or good-character person will agree that "doing bad or evil" is a no-no and should not be condoned.

And as Believers, we all know that Sin should also not be condoned. It is not just bad because of the 10 Commandments. It is bad because it is the very core reason that separated us from GOD.

When Sin entered, it undermined the future of all humanity...

Sin pushed us away from ever truly experiencing the Fullness and Glory of God's Presence!

Adam and Eve made the way possible for Sin to enter at the Garden by eating the forbidden fruit. And with that one move, Sin hinders everything now, especially a chance to experience of God’s Presence.

Because God is a Holy God and cannot be in the midst of unholiness or sin.

It reminds me of the relationship between Water and Oil. Both have very unique and meaningful applications in our lives, however you can't put them both together. It will only work separately.

  • Water cleanses us from our daily dirt and grime. Water refreshes us as well especially when we are thirsty or dry.
  • Oil moistures us and is used as a healing balm. Oil also renews us and sets us apart (prepares us) for what's next.

You see, the people of the world are NO LONGER thirsty for the true and living Water. And hence, they just want to continue their lives living in their SIN. Sometimes so openly and without any shame. When they reject the Water, they won't even want to get to what's next, which is the Oil.

Only when SIN is dealt with, under the BLOOD of the Lamb, will they see their need for the Living Water, not before. And when that happens, they can enter and commune with God "unrestricted". God Himself will then come and pour His Oil over every person... His Holy Spirit, Anointing and His PRESENCE!!!

Don't let Sin Block the Presence of GOD in your life today.
Confess, Repent and Invite His Presence In once again.

In Isaiah 57:15 (NLT) the Bible states...

"The high and lofty one who lives in eternity, the Holy One, says this: “I live in the high and holy place with those whose spirits are contrite and humble. I restore the crushed spirit of the humble and revive the courage of those with repentant hearts." Source

"The Presence" series continues tomorrow...

Blessings & Shalom.
