So why do you come back to Steemit?
Since I was contacted with the question below, I will answer it via a blog post & then spam your comments section with my response. I would rather leave the original contest, for the 'fresh' newbies.
So why do you come back to Steemit? We all have our share of rants. Comment back on my other post so you can have a random chance to winning a share of sbi, for when you write.

That's a good question, and to answer that directly, you are one of those reasons. You were the very first person, to come to my blog, upvote, read AND comment on my first 'original' blog post.
Ever since then, you have constantly been 'harassing' me with multiple comments on other posts:) Still trying to work out a way of shaking you off, but you are very stubborn! Hmmmm, come to think of it, maybe this is a deliberate ploy and strategy from Steemit Inc. to retain users on the platform, by sending ladies to random blogs posts and reeling them in with compliments:)
Having said that, I never had the intention of blogging on here after joining steemit. Surprisingly, I discovered that for some reason, I did manage to blog or write something that did get some attention and interest from others. So the reason why I have continued to do so, is because of all the genuinely amazing and friendly people, who have shown me an immense amount of support and honest feedback, as well as an appreciation and feeling of getting some source of knowledge, genuine value or entertainment out of my few and far between blog posts, no matter what the content.
There are definitely quite a few others I could insert into the conversation here, but they are not running this competition, so sucking up to them won't help my case. Besides they know who they are, so naming them here will only send Ginabot into a hysterical fit, as well as the fact that I don't want anyone to feel left out. There are two specific people I want to thank without naming them publicly. I speak to these two, on almost a daily basis and if it wasn't for them, who knows what might have happened. You may have missed out on my amazing posts and rants…the horror!
Although I occasionally express an opinion strongly with regards to the platform, I truly believe the positives FAR OUTWEIGH the negatives. It really does give people from a global perspective an opportunity to communicate, to share their experiences and meet others with the same principles and interests that they may never have come across otherwise. Add to that the co-operative open transparent and sharing economy of the future and you have a blend of converging interests that help us all.
It’s also great from a personal perspective, especially when you have the attention of a friendly and generous whale, which looks after you occasionally with some healthy upvotes. Yeah, I need to stroke their ego, so they come back. I wonder if some incense would work? Tickles maybe?
So to finish off, it’s a combination of cool people and the ability to source information and knowledge from other users' interesting and informative posts, that keep me coming back!
For those that were paying attention from my last post, I will italicise my last sentence to give the appearance and false impression of extremely high intelligence.

I'm a tiny bit less positive about positives and a fair bit more negative about the negatives. And even though the positives are pretty ok, they do not justify the utter bullshit of the negatives. The negatives may eventually make the platform self destruct, but by then the reward pool rapists will have filled their pockets as a bunch of clones of out real life elite. As ignoring that would make me corrupt for allowing them to continue this BULLSHIT. So I will try to keep reminding people about the bullshit, to try and get to terms with it for myself. And to show to others why I think this is bullshit so they can form their own opinions.
The unfairness by design, that is build in to steemit is the very thing that rewards BULLSHIT entrepreneurs to make cash from BULLSHIT while BULSHITTING honest users by raping the reward pool, self serving their own pockets, AND serving their own vote power at the same time.
Then after that they abuse the generated power and money to abuse and shit on everyone with less power then them, just like the elite on this planet.
As that system sucks like nothing else on this planet I simply can not ignore it. I'm still on steemit because I see that there is an option, although it is crappy in many ways DUE to the BULLSHIT BY DESIGN, to use this platform as a tool to help people who actually NEED a system like Steemit but WITH OUT THE FUCKING BULLSHIT!
And it is just a matter of time for steemit to start bragging about "how awesome this BULLSHIT" is used to help poor people.
I spend way too much time on this comment, but as my connection speed is too piss poor to even load a single image this evening I can't do much else either.
BTW giphy.com isn't that the website that states that it does NOT require to be mentioned as a source? So why should we place blatant advertisement to sources? Those sources do not reward us in any way for our work of doing that advertisement do they?

P.S. I actually told Curie to keep an eye on your writing after reading the first post. You write too far and in-between, plus, political and sarcastic posts on Steemit won’t make the cut. Perhaps my taste in quality is not up to par with their definition of quality. I seem to submit authors with potential, they like the more polished posts. Oh well. Will continue to help the great content writers out there with my small upvote, the support of the NRD acct and my alerting curie to a good post even when it may not make the cut.

@palikari123, the small upvote from emperor that Dave kindly did for me is my doing, but not the upvote from yabapmatt. That was all his own doing.
You have your whale harpooning support, I have yabapmatt that shows community support to me (and my team, but the guys are MIA right now). Since he follows us, anything I resteem shows up on his feed. Sometimes he shows his support, sometimes he don’t. I’ve never met him to be honest. My teammates met him once and they both think he is a good guy. Both guys help with screening job candidates at their workplace and they know BS when they see it. So the fact that they respect him, and from what I learned of him from visiting his blog and seeing his support to some of the posts I’ve resteemed, well, he has my respect as well. He may not be an active community engager, but he does pay attention to the Steemit world and actively looks at his feed. I appreciate his generous support to me and some of the posts from members of NRD that he sees in his feed.
