Bitch Coin costumes in Rio de Janeiro's Carnival, Katy Perry's crypto nails and #BlocoChain in Steem blockchain. Come to Brazil!

in #bitcoin7 years ago (edited)

Hi steemians! Here in Brazil the carnival time has already started, people plan going through the weekend and have the pinnacle on tuesday (mardi gras for french speaking countries and New Orleans, other worldwide famous carnival). As I said few days ago in #BlocoChain | The Bloco Chain in Brazilian Carnival. A decentralized autonomous kind of mini samba school for blockchain and cryptocurrency enthusiasts., this year the success of cryptocurrencies, bitcoin and blockchain would inspire new carnival costumes and lyrics for sure. Just take a look, imagine hearing the samba and dance together!

Last sunday Gabriella Nadai (@gabinadai) shared this picture on Instagram. She and her friends with Bitch Coin costumes, playing the carnival in Santa Teresa neighbourhood, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In the caption her quote seems to be a little bearish vision towards the crypto future: Tiram onda de ricas mas não valem nada (Posing as rich but without any value at all).

In another photo, this time published on the Instagram profile of Gabrielle Guimarães (@gabiguimaraessl) - the girl with the finger on the mouth - the group look like acting a chart graph for the recent bitcoin price variations :-) But different from the previous friend, her opinion is more optimistic: Ascensão da moeda (Rise of the coin).

How I find these lively and creative #BitchCoin people? Thanks to @joaolyra, a carioca (person who was born or lives in Rio) steemian who gave me the hint by WhatsApp messenger, to this picture that Luiza Vilela (@luli_vilela) published on Instagram last saturday, it then appeared in the O Jeitinho Carioca's fanpage and spread between brazilians cryptocurrency and blockchain enthusiasts.

And it seems that the Bitch Coin costume idea inspired more people in the city and is being internationally known. The Bloomberg correspondent in Brazil, David Biller (@DLBiller), tweeted the picture above and received almost 2k likes and 500 RTs (Retweets). He announced almost solemnly: Crypto makes its #Rio Carnaval debut.

Who also adopted the cryptocurrency in her fashion style was the famous singer and composer Katy Perry. She published this picture showing the nail art full of cryptocoins logos, maybe it could inspire new costumes beyond bitcoin. At this time the picture reached almost 205k likes on Instagram and 10k on Facebook. I think that it is a great way, like the carnival props and costumes, to introduce the blockchain and cryptocurrencies to the common people on the streets.

#BlocoChain and Steem blockchain

Here on Steemit many brazilians are sharing their carnival good time and adventures on blocos (street parties and bands) too, from Recife and Olinda, @jsantana wrote a post about Maracatu and the preparations for Galo da Madrugada (the biggest carnival block of the world), @aldenio captured the curious Jesus and V meeting, from São Paulo @massola was present at the french-brazilian bloco Amelie Pulando and @alexandrecseco was at Monobloco. Plus we have posts by @alisonqueiroz, @jersika and @edguimaraes, presenting the carnival in their cities: São Luis, Belo Horizonte and Curitiba.

As proposed in the first #BlocoChain post, I am talking with the Bloco Chain events organizers in São Paulo and Belo Horizonte, one of them, @luishansen, already opened a Steemit account. And also with other steemians planning play the carnival with Steem blockchain inspired costumes, registering and posting here the results. I want to share with them 90% of the #BlocoChain posts liquid rewards to help them pay for make up, props and ornaments. Finally, the 10% remaining will be transfered to @brazilians (a community project).

Come to Brazil!

Like the US, Brazil is a large monolanguage country. We can travel for miles and still be understood only speaking portuguese, for that, we used to not realize the importance to know other idioms. When in polyglot spaces we are famous to only drop lines like huehuehue and come to Brazil!! 😃 But now it is true, it is crypto carnival and #BlocoChain time!

Thank you very much and have a good time in Carnival!

Sensacional!!!
Só faltou você de BofeChain!
Abraços recheados de confetes,

Valeu!

Those carnivals look great in Brazil promoting the Bitch Coin.

Thank you very much and good luck again! Come to Brazil!
