Hi steemians! Carnival time is coming, as famous as the ones in New Orleans and Venice, in Brazil this is a huge festival that transform almost all country in the largest street party of the universe :-)

Here we have the samba schools parade in Sambodromes, with its giant and impressive floats and costumes but also into an organized contest whose participants needs to follow rules and schedules to win a competition, somewhat like a soccer championship.

In another way, the Bloco (Carnival Block in Wikipedia), is an emergent, decentralized, autonomous organization. People form street bands, groups or mobs, gathering more people to parading in the Brazilian cities.

Aside traditional and well know Blocos like Galo da Madrugada (Rooster/Cock of Early Hours) in Recife, Filhos de Gandhi (Sons of Gandhi) in Salvador and Cordão da Bola Preta (Black Ball Cording) in Rio, this year we will have Bloco Chain and its forks for the first time in Brazilian Carnival.

In this video you can watch the Super Mario Bloco with Nintendo fans in Santa Teresa neighbourhood in Rio. Other examples of creative Blocos mixing brazilian rithms with foreign music are Bloco do Sargento Pimenta (Sgt Pepper's Block), Tô de Bowie and Pife Floyd.

Thanks to Brazilian bitcoin, blockchain and cryptocurrency enthusiasts, this year we can dance samba in the Bloco Chain for the first time in Carnival history. There are Bloco Chain events scheduled in Facebook for São Paulo (on February 13th) and Belo Horizonte (on February 14th) cities. They had almost 1k confirmations, 7,1 k people interested and attracted the attention of the Brazilian crypto news sites and media giants like Época Negócios magazine and O Globo newspaper. Let's join them representing Steem blockchain and Steemit users in our lyrics and costumes, posting with the tag #BlocoChain and share our post rewards and delegate Steem Power to call attention of people on the streets and invite new steemians to the block.

After posting an invitation (in portuguese) to the tag #BlocoChain, now I am talking with these Bloco Chain events organizators, if some of them have a Steemit account already, I will transfer part of the 90% of this post liquid rewards to help them pay for make up, costumes and ornaments. The other part I will transfer to steemians friends that said they will make #BlocoChain costumes to play the Carnival in Recife/Olinda (@aldenio) and Rio (@blockchainbrasil), then registering and posting here the results. Finally, 10% of all liquid rewards will be transfered to @brazilians (a community project).

Come to Brazil! Imagine if one member of the J-Pop group Kasou Tsuka Tsujou (Virtual Currency Girls) visits Bloco Chain or someone make a Bonecão de Olinda (Olinda giant puppet doll) representing Vitalik Buterin (with his unicorn shirt), Ned Scott or Dan Larimer... it will be really fun!
