Belgian Jupiler League Week 3 Sunday Previews
The 1st Half Under 1 @ 2.09+ in the Sint-Truiden vs Lokeren match won deserved yesterday. Sunday has 3 very interesting matches I highly look forward to following and betting them.
Oostende vs Genk
Racing Genk have been on fire and highly underrated on the betting market in my view. They have been on my auto-bet list until the way the market values them is adjusted or when their form shows a reversal pattern. They should have easily won against Stvv but were unlucky hitting the cross bar 4 times in that match. Oostende had a difficult preparation period and have not fully convinced me in the first 2 matches. They showed a defensive approach against Anderlecht and I expect them to have a similar approach against Racing Genk. Genk plays very offensive and leaves quite some space in the back, so a counter attack style is likely. The fact that Oostende somehow collapsed near the end against Anderlecht losing 5-2 showed they still need to mature. Over is also high on my radar in Genk matches and the most difficult goal will as often be the first one. The line seems a bit too soft given the fact that all matches so far from Genk could have should have had bigger scorelines. Because this match might start off with a defensive home team, I only took a small bet on the Over 2.75 @ 1.82 with an eye to put more in Live. My main bet is Racing Genk -1 @ 2.70. (I also took Genk in the upcoming Europa League match -0.25 @ 1.90, limits are still very small and 1 bet trashed the price on pinnacle to 1.735)
Charleroi vs Anderlecht
Charleroi are one of the teams I see as a bit overrated at the moment. They had a couple seasons where they overperformed and I would not be surprised if this season turns out a lot more difficult for them. They now have some more scoring power and seem to step somewhat away from their ultra defensive style where the only thing they do is completely break down their opponent and win by 1 goal. I'm not fully sold yet on Anderlecht when it comes down to individual quality, however as a team with the good mindset they seem to be far better compared to previous seasons. Mainly Trebel is highly important along with youngster Saelemaekers. They also have strikers with confidence that are on a scoring streak which makes a huge difference (Di Mata 3 | Santini 3). My money is on Anderlecht -0.25 @ 1.884 in this match. Coach Vanhaezebroeck is someone who in the past always saw a draw on the road as an acceptable result so I don't mind taking it more safe on this bet. I will be looking out for a potential over bet live.
AA Gent vs Waasland
AA Gent won 0-1 in the Europa League Qualif match on thursday and again showed that they lack some creativity and fire which makes it difficult for them to actually create a lot of real chances. One thing that they clearly do is take high intensity starts in their matches and I don't expect anything less today. Overall I see them as overvalued and they are inbetween EL Qualif matches what often causes points being lost in the league. Waasland have a young team but shown to be very good physically which makes them an option to bet late in matches. They had somewhat slow starts in previous matches and the coach addressed this in a post match interview last time saying he will hammer on much more focus at the start of the match . I have split my stake between 3 bets in this match. Waasland+1.5 @ 1.88 | AA Gent Team Total Under 2 @ 2.08 | Waasland Team Total Over 0.5 @ 1.84
Late info might change my view on what is written in these previews.
