Steemit Music League Challenge Week Six
New week, new theme. So pumped to see what the talented Steemit Universe creates in this week of the #smlchallenge.
The SML Challenge was created to provide an additional avenue for the musicians of Steemit who are chasing their dreams to be highlighted and earn some additional recognition, feedback, and rewards.
Rappers, vocalists, and producers a new epic theme is ready to go for this week's Steemit Music League Challenge.
We also now have an awesome interactive Discord Channel for everyone to come together, interact, ask questions, and even have access to the Live Music Bunker where you can hear a playlist of all that week's entries.
It is called the Steemit Music Alliance and includes Steemians involved in the music community from all over the world. We are bringing together the music community in one place to foster an environment to help one another and share their art and dreams.
Information about the new two-part music contest is coming soon and is discussed in the channel as well as information and entries about the Beat Battle League and the Steemit Music League Challenge.

Here are the details of the Steemit Music League Challenge Week Six:
All you have to do is submit an original entry based off of the theme of the week using the tag #smlchallenge and/or comment the entry on any SML Challenge posts.
You will have until Friday night, November 10th to submit your entries with winners will be announced Saturday, November 11th.
This week's theme is:
The Animal Kingdom
The Animal Kingdom is made up a vast amount of species all coming together in order to fulfill their life purposes and live in harmony.
This theme leaves room for creativity and could be taken various ways.
Rappers and lyricists can share their Animal-Kingdom inspired lyrics.
Producers could use a variety of prominent animal sounds in your entry.
Or maybe you have a theme song of different habitats already in mind.
The options are endless so let's see what Animal Kingdom inspired entries are possible this week.
Here is some inspiration for sounds and ideas for this Animal Kingdom themed week:
The entries will be judged off of the following:
- Sound Quality,
- Technicality,
- Creativity, and
- Relevance to theme
The prize pool is as follows:
FIRST PLACE WINNER: 20 SBD + 10 Whaleshares + 30 SMOKE for 60 points
SECOND PLACE WINNER: 10 SBD + 10 Whaleshares + 25 SMOKE for 45 points
THIRD PLACE WINNER: 6 SBD + 10 Whaleshares + 20 SMOKE for 36 points
FOURTH PLACE WINNER: 4 SBD + 10 Whaleshares + 15 SMOKE for 29 points
COMMUNITY FAVORITE: 6 SBD + 10 Whaleshares + 10 SMOKE for 26 points
The Community Favorite each week will be determined by the amount of comments responding to their entries, upvotes on their submission comment, and total community support on post.
Week Six of the Steemit Music League Challenge starts today and will accept submission until November 10 with winners being announced Saturday evening (November 11th).
The team of @chiefmappster, @danyelk, @derekmiller, and @nutela are pumped to see what is in store for this week.
Don't forget it helps the judges and the community for you to make a post about your entry, with how you created it, the meaning behind it, how the theme came into play.
It is just another way for us Steemians to get to know you and your message.

Nice vibe, my friend has a tree cutting company and i worked for him for awhile...and i'll tell you one thing...it's a dangerous job. I quit after my co worker accidently cut himself with the chainsaw....i've never seen so much blood in my life and the tore up-shredded flesh...it haunts me to this day! Great entry brother and good luck! Check mine out, i rapped about like 10 animals and different classes of animals. Here's a line from it "I was locked in a single cell like a protist"! A protist is a single-celled, microscopic organism. LOL i know most people won't get that but i thought i was clever so i threw it in a rap.
