"labyrinth of knowledge"
I think a possible interpretation of this image could do with divergent evolution. In order for the human organism to survive we have to accomplish a certain set of task or goals in our enviornment to eat/live and reproduce.
Humans through a complex series of unlikely events involving a thumb, have created an incredibly complex society in which you have to understand how to file your own taxs, and drive a car in order to survive. You must spend most of your time collecting knowledge on a vast array of subjects to 'understand' them, instead I think, of experiencing them. In this image you can see humans walking through a Maze of knowledge, a privilege and a giant burden. The fish have evolved down a different path of extremes that focus on being present in moment for survival (protection of self and foraging for food)
When I look at this image I personally want to be one of these fish, but that's just my take.

Speechless reef
Fish in the sky, over books that are empty.
People are lost, rushing fast through the maze.
Going nowhere there's no end and no entry.
Lost without words, and their memories fade.
Fish staying silent they watch from up high.
Over books that are empty, where people rush by.
