Figure in Motion: Frame 15
I was hoping to be finished my new animation project by the end of January, but here I am, only a little more than half way there. I'm still plugging away, but I can't seem to find time to draw new frames every single day. But today I finally got some work done!
To sum up the project for those who don't want to read the post linked above, I'll be making 24 drawings of the same pose from different angles and then putting them together into an animation that gives the viewer a 360° view of the model.
Here's the Fifteenth Drawing
All Completed Frames Side by Side
When it became obvious that the lighting of the photos wasn't lining up nicely, I made a decision: Rather than painstakingly trying to match them all in Photoshop, I'll just reshoot all of the photos once I'm done drawing to ensure consistent lighting conditions.
Animation is so hard but you do it so well! You get my vote and I follow you.
Thank you very much :)
wow wow, this is nice, fantastic work
Thank you very much. I hope you'll stick around to see the final product once it's ready. Only 9 frames left to go!
Looking at a subject from every possible angle seems like a great way to practice your drawing skills. And I really appreciate the old-fashioned pencil drawing approach.
I've never considered the human form to be one of my strengths, so I'm trying to get a lot of practice in. And honestly, I have to do traditional drawing. I'm not good enough at digital! haha
