Figure In Motion: Frame 08
After a couple of days without completely any drawings, I'm back with another frame for my new project.
To sum up the project for those who don't want to read the post linked above, I'll be making 24 drawings of the same pose from different angles and then putting them together into an animation that gives the viewer a 360° view of the model.
Before I reveal the new frame, I want to put in a shameless plug for any artists here on Steemit.
I just started a Surreal Art Contest with 20 SBD worth of prizes to be won. If you're interested in entering an original piece, make sure you do so before the post payout in 7 days.
Here's the Eighth Drawing
All Completed Frames Side by Side

When it became obvious that the lighting of the photos wasn't lining up nicely, I made a decision: Rather than painstakingly trying to match them all in Photoshop, I'll just reshoot all of the photos once I'm done drawing to ensure consistent lighting conditions.

Very nice. This is a cool idea!
I'm curious about your source. Did you walk around the model and take photos from which to draw? Or a series of quick sketeches that are then refined?
Looking forward to the final animation!
I bought a pose from Pose Space (a great resource if you like figure drawing but don't have easy access to art classes or studio time with models)
The photo set came with 24 photos going 360 degrees around the model. I'm doing a drawing of each photograph.
Thanks for commenting!
Dude! Thanks for the info!
My figure drawing is weak sauce compared to anthing else I do so that is a great tip for me!
Me, I'm good at copying figures, but I don't have a good enough sense of proportions to draw them from my head. But the more I practice, the more I'll be able to draw the human form freely without reference.
That's the dream. I'm reminded of DaVinci's practice sessions where he has 20 or so different hands in various positions, over and over again until he could draw a hand in any position without the need of a model.
