The Journey. Art. Coloured Pencil Drawing. Christmas 2018.
But my heart was light. Courageous.
Our journey to a new life was long and arduous.
But my body was strong. My mind focused. My spirit elevated.
My companion was loving and good-natured.
Together our trust was growing.
As each step brought us.
Closer to the birth.

As the deepest silence penetrated the very core of Heaven and Earth.
~Claire Heartsong: Anna.
In the soft morning light. The desert air: Moist.
Everything: Still. I see my future stretching out before me.
The path: Narrow. The way: Disciplined. Yet my cup will overflow.
Love for my family will bring both laughter and tears.
I will teach my child to sing and play music.
We will: Walk. Talk. Dance together.
The Seed of Life within.
Will flower.

About my work.
Sometimes when I look at one of my photographs or as in this case, an old drawing: A song or quote or other thoughts/words come to me. I enjoy the process of visually massaging the resulting prose into a shape. Usually a triangle, but sometimes a square and in this instance: A diamond.
I'm also finding that as I invite signs into my life and seek to become much more attentive to synchronicity, the more my creativity flows and the more magical my entire life is becoming.
For instance, as the second verse of this 'poem' was forming ~ I asked for a word or phrase to express the energy within The Child as The Mother poured all her love and wisdom into the blossoming of her Child.
These simple and most validating words came:
The Seed of Life within.
Will flower.
And I knew the verse was complete.
Seed of Life.
I described the following dream about the forming of a perfect Seed of Life symbol in the earth in my article: The Crimson Seed of Life #1.
I was overlooking an expansive landscape of undulating green fields.
As I looked down onto an area of vibrant green grass, I noticed a bare brown patch that was starting to spread out and I felt a ripple of disconcertedness.
As I looked closer, I could see that this browned area was formed by the earth being pushed up by something that was below the earth. Apprehension turned to curiosity.
Closer again and I could see that the earth was being shaped into fine lines forming a pattern. I could then see that the earth 'pushers' were hundreds of bees.
The form the bees were making was a PERFECT Seed of Life.
I had gone to bed asking for guidance about the direction my art needed to take. I interpreted this dream as being a connection between the Seed of Life and the bees and also a 'sign' that I incorporate this symbol into my art.
Thus began my Seed of Life ephemeral art pieces.

And NOW?
I continually ask for guidance on the direction my art needs to take.
And over the Christmas season and especially since writing this 'poem' ~ I've come to see that the Seed of Life is to be an integral part of my NEW drawing.
AND where it can be planted.
I have four drawings of the stages of a camellia flowering: From a bud to being fully open. These drawings are not quite as ancient as The Journey and Guided by the Star but they were never finished, as I didn't know what they needed. Now I know ~ Although I don't know PRECISELY how they can be embraced by the Seed of Life.

The dream about the bees forming the Seed of Life was like nothing I'd ever dreamed before. It was only when I described the curved form of the six identical shapes to a friend that she said 'Ally, that's the Seed of Life.
It was funny, in that I've known this form for a long time ~ And yet I hadn't realized until then that it was indeed the Seed of Life in my dream.
It's amazing how the Universe and Nature reveal their secrets to us ~ When we are open to receive them. I have the feeling that 2019 will be an absolutely AMAZING year for such 'gifts' to be given to us. ♥︎♥︎⚖️♥︎♥︎

When I first thought about sharing the drawing of The Journey I was feeling very uncertain as to whether people at Steemit would like it or not. But then I realized that sharing it now, is a necessary part of my process: Acknowledging all the drawing I've ever done ~ So that the 'Creative Muse' can reinvent herself.
Having this piece upvoted by the Curie community is such a compliment ~ I'm so grateful for the extra supportive boost it's given me to 'combat' all the would-be attackers and doubters of my 'drawing spirit.'

I've been inspired by people at Steemit, more than anywhere else. There are so many talented artists and writers here. Pre Steempress: I used to transfer (C&P and then edit) my Steemit articles over to my own blog.
Steempress can be a little off-hand at times but now that I have the hang of it, it's helping me, keep my articles (more or less) organized. So that when the time comes to start a book, a lot of material will be there for it.
Always interesting to go back over past writings and images ~ Often see new perspectives or ways of presenting.
