MM Photography Series: "Synergy"

Mixture of human act and natural growth in one picture. Taken on the streets of Dublin during Sunday walks; as soon as I saw the building I knew what needed to be done. Took out my “moment capturing machine” and snapped this beauty. Oh, the pleasure I felt was so overwhelming because I took so many shots and could not decide which one to pick as a representative specimen.

Content of this picture is clear, building covered in ivy. First thing that draws attention is dominant green color making this image gentle and tinted. Darker tone is achieved by shadows from the leaves and clouds even though photo was taken during midday. What contributes to dynamic of the picture are details created by leaves. Somehow it almost looks like it was made by nature without human interaction at all; if we neglect balconies.

I wonder for how long have two of these lived in synergy? Now, when I come to think of it, nature is always here to finish what human has started, it will always try to incorporate itself in all that we do; not because it has longer life span but because we are it, nature and all what’s around it/us.
