The shape of the Earth is an animal
Grazing on the open surface
Life fulfilled on the plain;
Perpetual
Balance.
The shape of the Earth is warring humans
Dressing with blood the open fields
Conflict in war and hope
In all dreaming
Children.
what if the Earth is an unloaded spring
Reaching through the vacuum to soar
In what we'll call "up"
But could always
Be "down".
And what if the shape of the Earth could change
From an oblate to digital;
A complete wired mesh
And pre-programmed
To boot.
I'm more concerned with the shape of a heart
A structure built over the years
A form both strong and weak
Forged in fire
And ice.
When we alter our hearts we change ourselves
And reshape the Earth with passion,
Reshape ourselves the same
And we evolve,
Again.
