Great Saturday betting wise with lots of action and some good profit overall. It could have been so much more if Cercle Brugge did not score that 2nd goal at the end but that's how it often goes in betting. Club Brugge vs Anderlecht

Anderlecht had to win last week against AA Gent but played another poor boring match which ended in a scoreless 0-0 draw. Their big issue this season is clearly lack in overall player quality and a coach change is not really fixing that. There is also said that there are some issues between player and they are clearly not a team that stands together right now. I was ready to take Club Brugge early on but watching them struggle against Antwerp after losing the week before against Genk made me more cautious. With Genk in a good form winning their match yesterday the gap is now 9 points with 4 more matches to go and I don't believe Club Brugge still believes they can take the title. They do however need to watch out for Antwerp who is right behind them with an equal amount of points. I was still willing to go with Club Brugge but the odds dropped during the week on the -1 line from 2.00 to 1.85 which made it a no play. They did however return and went even higher (2.05 on -1 line now) which makes me very careful. Everyone knows that Anderlecht is in a bad spot and the home team will be a public play for sure. As much as I would love to get in on Club Brugge, I will keep my discipline and wait it out seeing what the match brings live. The beauty about these favorites is that most of the time there is no rush as live betting is still there to take it. I would not be surprised if this turned into a blowout home win and that is the idea I'm taking with me going into this one Live. No Pre-Game Bets

Sint-Truiden vs Beerschot Wilrijk

I managed to get myself into a great betting spot early this week (See Post) taking the home team in this match with different options. I split my stakes and am on

• 0.392 Units | Sint-Truiden -0.75 @ 1.800 (now 1.325)
• 0.192 Units | Sint-Truiden -1@ 2.130 (now 1.440)
• 0.392 Units | Sint-Truiden 1H -0.25 @ 1.780 (now 1.483)
• 0.267 Units | Sint-Truiden -1.5 @ 2.690 (now 1.854)
• 0.010 BTC | Sint-Truiden -1.5 @ 2.667 (Nitrogensports)

This is a huge move and I could easily take a big guaranteed profit before the match even started. That is what I should probably do but I'm just rolling with it and ride the variance having 1.24 units and a bit extra in BTC at risk. The setup for this match is pretty much the same as I wrote in my preview on Wednesday. Stvv needs the win to keep clear of Charleroi who is chasing them for the group win while Beerschot played very bad and have nothing to play for. They are also in a situation where they might or might not promote to the 1st division with both Mechelen and Waasland possibly can still relegate so I doubt they will have their focus on this match.
