It's time to take stock of our small event. I specifically avoid the word "competition", because the main thing is not a competition, but participation, discussion, exchange of experience, conversation of people who are passionate about photography and try to get a result that is more than just pressing the shutter release button of the camera and the phone.

This is the main task that I set myself. At the same time, simple compliments have no special value. "Wow, how beautiful!"... it doesn't carry any useful information. I would like to hear the continuation of this phrase. What exactly did you like about this photo, which solutions of the author are successful. I consider constructive criticism, expressing opinions on the merits, and paying attention to important or interesting points to be the most valuable in the comments.

Together with the authors' posts, such comments can bring a lot of useful things for everyone.

Пришло время подвести итоги нашего небольшого мероприятия. Я специально избегаю слова "конкурс", потому что главным является не состязание, а участие, обсуждение, обмен опытом, разговор людей, которые увлечены фотографией и стараются получить результат, который больше простого нажатия спусковой кнопки затвора камеры или телефона.

Такова основная задача, которую я ставил перед собой. При этом простые комплименты не имеют особой ценности. "ВАУ, как красиво!"... это не несёт никакой полезной информации. За этой фразой хотелось бы услышать продолжение. Что именно в этой фотографии тебе понравилось, какие решения автора являются удачными. Наиболее ценным в комментариях я считаю конструктивную критику, высказывание мнения по существу, обращение внимания на важные или интересные моменты.

Вместе с постами авторов такие комментарии могут принести много полезного для всех.

Concept

I show a photo (taken by me @ty-ty) and a text inspired by this photo (written by White Raven / Weisser Rabe). The task is to draw inspiration or associations from the text in order to process my photo. It is not necessary to consider the whole text, but individual parts or words of the text may suffice.

If you accept the task, please report on which parts of the text you found stimulating or inspiring or a starting point for associations (possibly also contrasting). In the end, as before, the visual result should be decisive, not the thing about the text. If you can't do anything with this text, then perhaps just let the three dots at the end or the hyphen from the heading have an effect on you.

The photo of @ty-ty does not seem complicated at first glance. A snow-covered bench against a snow-covered wall. But sometimes simplicity can be deceptive. By the way, this is the essence of minimalism, although it's not exactly minimalism here, but still. Each of us has our own picture of the world based on our life experience. Based on it, everyone sees their own in the same image.

But the author of the task went further and more cunning :) He proposed his idea, which is expressed in the verses of Weisser-Rabe. And now we need to reflect these ideas on the basis of the proposed move... a diabolical plan... but our participants were not even embarrassed at all. Look at these wonderful results.

Кстати, в этом суть минимализма, хотя здесь не совсем минимализм, но всё-таки. У каждого из нас свая собственная картина мира основанная на нашем жизненном опыте. Исходя из неё каждый видит своё в одном и том же изображении.

Но автор задания пошёл дальше и хитрее :) Он предложил свою идею, которая выражена в стихах Weisser-Rabe. И теперь надо отразить эти идеи на основе предложенного хода... дьявольский план... но наши участники совсем даже не смутились. Посмотрите на эти чудесные результаты.

In my work, I decided to combine warm memories of the past, a cold present and a bright future in an atmospheric sunrise, and snow is just the time when I want to hurry up.

Traditionally, the author uses the technique of collaging several images. From the original photo remains... only a bench, but it looks quite respectable in the swamp. Cranberry collectors, your daughters and just tourists would be grateful for such a gift))

Despite the winter and snow, the image is warm and echoes the poems of Weisser-Rabe.

I have known the initial picture for a long time. You could say it spoke to me immediately - it prompted me to write the text that you were also presented with. In this respect, of course, I also have a special relationship to the words...

A lonely bench in a snowy landscape. It makes my soul feel cold. That's why I sought to change this state. Basically, to create a home environment, a pleasant company, it can be a partner, a friend, someone with whom you can share. In the background is a house, warmth, a hearth.
Finally, everything results in a feeling of peace, happiness and love.

That's exactly how it happens :) Two people are sitting on a bench moved to a snow-covered forest, they have a warm house and... I suspect that there is already a Christmas tree in the house and everything is ready for the holiday. By the way, this collage is well suited as a holiday card.

How to show the inner warmth of cold winter hugs...?
Maybe add warm tones to the shadows, but leave the snow milky?

Finally, I think I used all of White Raven's text to guide me... basically the part that says: "Transparent and pure
or white and milky...", qualities that can be attributed to snow.

Indeed, this winter photo turned out to be warm enough not to be covered with ice and not to crack from fragility.

It was clear to me how thin, almost ephemeral the snow crust formed on the stone wall was. I was thinking about the process of creating it by combining wind, snow clouds and cold. How did they manage to secure this veil to transform the landscape to their exquisite taste?

The poetic mood of the task led to a poetic mood when performing it. Nature comes to life and begins to create its beauty. She is fragile and requires careful attitude to herself.

The cloud talked to the Wind, asking him not to blow too hard on the snowflakes falling from it, the Wind asked the Cold to fix the snowflakes in time, which the Wind will carry to the stone...

The author uses horizontal reflection to obtain a symmetrical image and a new image.

I wanted symmetry to complement my idea of a community of natural elements.

Frosty nights that made their hearts fight the cold with even more cold so they could feel a little warmth...
... I applied a negative effect in which I turned over the colors and the mosaic - in the middle of the bench I lightened a little to create a feeling of energy, as if part of the essence of those who passed there remained there.

An interesting find...ice in front of the bench... this is both fragility, and protection, and coldness ... :)
