Hi. It's @choogirl here. I hope you enjoy today's water-themed post. As it buckets down rain outside my window—it's the wet season—I know I'd rather be lying on one of these gorgeous sunny beaches on this wet-but-still-hot Friday afternoon.

#1 Noosa National Park, Australia

We start today Down Under on the Sunshine Coast. @betterthanhome take us exploring in Noosa National Park, where there are plenty of walks and beautiful beaches to enjoy. Their favourite beach is Granite Bay, featuring crystal clear water and powdery white sand. The National Park is also a hotspot for flora and fauna, and you may even spot whales off the coast between August and November if you're lucky.

#2 Sumilon Island, the Philippines

Because one beach is never enough, we next head to Sumilon Island in the Philippines with @junebride. This popular day tripping spot is a few minutes boat ride away from Oslob, Cebu. Coral reefs and clear water present numerous snorkelling opportunities, while the sandbar extending from the island provides a relaxing place to swim. The last boats back to Cebu leave at 5 pm.

#3 Inle Lake, Myanmar

Keeping with the water and boat theme, @bypaul shares his story of crossing Inle Lake in Myanmar. His journey starts in Nyaung Shwe, where he approaches numerous drivers to make the trip north to Loikaw. However, he soon discovers a local law preventing tourists from travelling in the same boat as locals, making it very expensive unless you can negotiate something. The journey took the entire day and just before he reached his destination, the boat ran out of fuel meaning he was stuck on the lake even longer.
