Shinjuku Chuo Park | 新宿中央公園

When I visit Tokyo, I always stay at this hotel, that is located at Nishi-Shinjuku. Just 3 minutes walk from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. This park is right next to this government building! In Hong Kong, this will never happen! You will not find a park at the expensive area of the city. However, Japanese government did the right thing! Keep recreation area to the citizen, not the real estate developers!

每次到東京我都喜歡住在這家在西新宿，離東京都廳只是三分鐘路程。而今次要介紹的公園就在都廳的旁邊。在香港很難想像可以在這麼貴的地段能有一個休憩公園，而不是要來發展地產項目。

The other wired thing is : for that many times I’ve stayed in this hotel, I never visited this park before! So this time, when I arrived early in the morning and my room is not available for me to check in yet. I decided to have a walk in this park.

更怪的是，我從來沒有到訪過！所以這次一早到了酒店而房間還未能給我使用，我就決到要到這公園走一趟。

It is as close as just at the opposite side of the hotel!

This is not a famous place for red leaves, but there are still some that I can enjoy.

雖然不是紅葉名所，還是有少量的紅葉可供供欣賞。

As I walked along the park, there were some more red leaves. Other than that, this park was not really special, non it was big. It took me about 15 minutes to cover the whole park. People said that there are many homeless staying in this park and you can see their belonging even at the day time, but I didn’t see any of those in this visit. Maybe they all been relocated by the government?

行着行着，就發現見不到傳聞中的露宿者或者其其家當。難道東京政府已經安置他們？

As I just said this park is not really special until I reach.....

公園平平無奇，直至我到了這裏...p

The Shinjuku Juniso Kumano Jinja

新宿十二社熊野神社

This Jinja or Shrine locates at northwest part of the park. When I arrived, there were only about 3 persons there. Very quite and I could feel the harmony of this shrine. I also took the rare chance for taking photos without people blocking me.

位於公園西北邊我熊野神社在我到達時，只有兩、三個人。非常寧靜。我亦趁機拍照。

I stayed here for about 20 minutes and I decided to head for Tsukiji for my breakfast. Before I left, I prayed to the shrine and drew divination as usual. Not bad, middle lucky! I was quite happy with this, maybe a good sign for this trip!
逗留了大約二十分鐘，我決定到築地食早餐。走之前我亦在神社參拜和求籤。「中吉」，運氣尚可。希望今次出差順利。
