My trip to Germany part 4 Nuremberg
Good day dear mates! @travoved is here!
The next one city about which I want to tell you at this time is Nuremberg!
And as usual my acquaintance with city began from main railway terminal, which has big hitory behind it's building.
From railway terminal we moved to the Inter city hotel which is located not ar from railway and my windows overlooked to the railroad.
After check-in at the hotel, we decided to go to Bohm's Herrenkeller restaurant for dinner, and then we had a short walk around the night city.
On the next day after breakfast at the hotel we went straight to the Deutsche Bahn museum where spent several hours. And had tasty lunch there. However, in order not to bore you with a long story I'll highlight our visit to this museum in separate post later.
After DB museum we visited craftsman city which is locayted in old town .The Old Town surrounded by the fortress wall.
During World War II, the wall was destroyed and later rebuilt. Now the wall is part of the Nuremberg Historical Mile.
On the way to the craftsman city, we could also observe the old buildings of the city, which did not remain without our attention.
When we finished our excursion at craftsman city we still had free time and decided to go to St. Lorenz church. This is a medieval church of the former free imperial city of Nuremberg in southern Germany.
It is one of the most prominent churches of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bavaria.
From St. Lorenz church we went to the Frauenkirche church via museum bridge.
Near Frauenkirche church we found small market and decided to take hot mulled wine.
After that, our path lay directly to the walls of the city castle. By the way, under the walls of which we found this famous sculpture.
We climbed the stairs from the foot of the castle and found ourselves on the observation deck. From where the whole city is visible at a glance.
But unfortunately we had not so much time and were need to go thuther.
When we came to our Inter city hotel we had just time to check out , to take our luggage and just for short coffe break.
When we finished with it we went to railway terminal.
There we suddenly found very noticeable installation which didn't see when arrived to the city.
Also at railway terminal we saw this model of rail road. Which I should say we saw then in other cities.
So our visit to Nuremberg was drawing to a close. All that was left was to find the right path and catch the train that was supposed to take us to Leipzig.
Here you can see back wall of our hotel
