Traveling the World #88 (Asia Series) Shiroyama Observation Deck @ Japan - 向世界出發 #88 (亞洲系列) 城山展望台 @ 日本

Hi Steemians,

Today I’ll be taking you up to Shiroyama Observation Deck. It is the “It” place to get the famous picture of the whole of Shirakawa-go.

今天我會帶你們到城山展望台。來到白川郷這個地方一定要來城山展望台因為你可以在這裡拍到整個郷的風景。

So we decided to walk up to the mountain as it seemed to be walkable and we saw alot of visitors doing the same also. If you have kids and have a stroller, I recommend you to walk up. If you don’t, be prepared it will be a long steep walk. If you were to go in winter, be aware that the road will be closed due to snow and its too too dangerous to walk up.

我們跟其他遊客一樣走上山。但如果你有小孩而且有帶 BB 車，我建議你可以慢慢走上山。如果沒有的，就要有心理準備要走好長和要陡的路。有一點要注意就是如果你冬天上城山展望台，這條路會有很多雪所以不可以走上山因為太危險。

這條路真的非常長和很陡

So we finally arrived! Note that the closing time for winter is at 4.30pm.

我們終於到啦。還有一點要注意是冬天的時候這個展望台是4點半關門的

Once we arrived, we have noticed that you can actually drive up the mountain it will be a massive detour. If you don’t mind the walk, you can avoid the long drive. Most tour groups were driven up the mountain.

我們到的時候，看見原來可以開車上山但要繞過另外一邊才可以到。如果你選擇走路上來其實這個選擇是比較好的因為開車的時間比較長。很多旅行團都是坐巴士上山

There is a souvenir shop at the top selling their lucky charms.

上山還有一間賣手信的。

So after some pictures, it was time to go back down. This time it was a lot easier.

拍完照，我們就走落山。落山容易好多...

It is finally time to go home as the sun was starting to set. We bought a few more gifts and headed back to the car.

是時候回家因為太陽開始落山了。我們買了一點手信就去拿車

Shirakawa-go was definitely a memorable place to visit during this trip.

這次來到白川郷真是一個非常難忘和好玩的地方。
