Traveling the World #87 (Asia Series) Shirakawa-go (II) @ Japan - 向世界出發 #87 (亞洲系列) 白川郷 (II) @ 日本
Hi Steemians,
Continuing from my last travel blog, we were at Shirakawa-go enjoying the nice village. Ogimachi is the largest village and the main area at Shirakawa go where these unique farm house still stand from the old days.
今天我們繼續在白川郷看看這些很特別的農舍. 荻町是在白川郷最值得去的地方也是最多保全最好的農舍就是在這裡。

Many of these farm houses have been converted to shops, restaurants, museums and home stays. We didn’t stay at a home here as there are very limited faclilties in each farm house so with kids it will be a bit difficult.
很多農舍都已經改成做商店，餐廳，博物館和旅館．我們今次沒有在其中一間旅館住因為設施非常簡單，有小朋友比較不方便。

There are many clear signs around the town but there are just one main road from end of town to the other side. If you are adventurous like us, do go off the main road go check out the houses on the side roads.
在白川郷，有很多路牌給遊客但我想應該不會迷路的因為中間有條主街從村口到另外一面都是從這條路走的．如果你好像我們比較大膽，你可以選擇走內街看看裏面的情況．
There is also a nice river near some of the houses
還有一條河， 風景非常美
It is best to plan ahead when you come to Shirawaka go and go on a fine sunny day as most things are outdoors and there is alot of walking. If you have kids, I highly recommend you bring a stroller to avoid carrying a heavy baby.
去白川郷前，最好預先安排一天好天氣才好參觀因為全部的景點都是在戶外的和有很多路要走．如果你有小朋友，最好帶一架BB車因為我想你不會想整天抱着一個那麼重的BB
While we were there, it was the beginning of winter so there was already a little bit of snow. This was Baby E’s first time seeing and playing with snow.
因為我們去的時間剛剛是冬天所以已經有一點雪。這是BB E 第一次看和玩雪

Very cool, I never knew of this place. Seems like it is still in the past. When I think of Japan I think of Tokyo and big cities and bullet trains, this is another side I think I prefer :)

I just couldn't resist myself from clicking into post that related to travels and nature because I am absolutely a travel enthusiast also a travel fanatic. I love seeing the world myself and also virtually. Your post definitely fed my eye full of colours and natural beauty that I couldn't express enough with words. PS: Japan is one of my top listed countries to visit of all time! I am just counting down the days until I am visiting Japan soon to explore and experience the local culture like you did :)
