Museum Series - What's The Inside Like: Royal Tyrell Museum

If this museum isn't too far from us, about 11 H drive, I bet we would frequent it. So far we've only been to this musuem once and by far the best museum that four of us truly enjoyed, even when we were somewhat wet from the crappy rain while waiting on the line to get inside.

This museum is called Royal Tyrell Museum and it is located in Drumheller, Alberta, Canada.

One huge museum that is packed not just with visitors but dinosaurs fossils, which many of them aren't even replicas, but from real dinosaurs. Yes, they found many dinosaurs fossils throughout Canada, especially in BC and Alberta....guess that's why this country is rich in oil 😉

Weekends, spring break, summer break, holidays, are the worst to come it seems, as seriously, it was hard to find parking space, and even hard to wait in the line with two little kids, so be prepared....packed tons of goodies while waiting so they won't whine so much 😂...and oh, of course, rain jacket or umbrella when you know the weather would be crappy!

It's a one great museum, even before going inside, there are dinosaurs greeting you outside, very attractive.

It would take about 3 H long to go through the whole museum. The toilet area is almost like a cave wall from the outside, and the gift shop is also fun to visit, although obviously, over priced just like any other gift shops 😂 Cover your kids eyes going through this section 😂😂😂😂 There is also a cafe like inside the museum, but again, when the museum is packed, expect the long line to this and that.

This museum is also open in Winter, but since we went there it was Fall, experiencing the queue line in the rain was not too fun, I would suggest checking the weather forecast should you go there in Winter, just in case snow storm was coming and whatnot.
