Museum Series - What's The Inside Like: Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum
My oldest loves reading about dinosaurs so much that when we learned there was gonna be a dinosaur museum 4 H drive from us, he got so excited about it. So when the museum was finally opened, we said "Finally! A dinosaur museum that doesn't require us to drive for 8-11 H long". 😁
The shape of the building from outside is pretty interesting, but unfortunately after browsing up and down my files, it seems we didn't take a picture of the building as a whole. I don't feel like borrowing pictures from Google, but there are awesome drone pictures 😁
Located in Wembley, Alberta, this museum looks huge from outside, but in all honesty, I think it's not so big from inside. But of course my comparison is the palaenthology museum in Drumheller, that one is humangous. Nevertheless this is awesome enough and much closer to us.
We can see their lab where they clean fossils and create replicas, some of the displays are allowed to be touched, there are trackways where you can compare your feet size with them dinosaurs, etc. It's heaps fun for the kids.
But of course, playground!
Just as we drove approaching the museum, kids spotted the playground, that kinda distracted my youngest attention, he couldn't wait to go outside 😂
Thanks For Looking!

Educational outings were always my children's favorites.
Yes the kids in general do love educational outings 😊 they are wonderful sponges, absorbing knowledge as much as they can 😊
Did you ever go to the Royall Tyrell Museum in Drumheller?
Hey! Thanks for asking because it made me realized I made a mistake in my writing! I meant to type Drumheller but Edmonton instead 😅
