Hey there Ruben! I can see you are still enjoying life and always in big plans and projects which happen to be slightly disturbed by "nature's call" and great adventures.
I am interested in THE MOON PHOTO, and did you find out why was the top glowing like that? - maybe some quick insights in photoshop enhancements you used? :)

Looking forward for next parts of this trip :)
Cheers!

Hey there @Svemirac! Hehe, thanks! Getting back on track again. The adventure was a true joy, we saw magnificent places but had some stupid arguments in between. Guess that's what it is to be on each others ass for 24hrs a few days long.

About the Moon picture. I think my brain fooled me! At first, I thought it was a star right behind the clouds, then, when I was getting the composition, I saw it was a light on top of the mountain. But the Moon counts as a light source and it was slightly enforcing the illumination of the light on top of the mountain, making the cloud around that area really pop out with the Moon serving as a backlight. I didn't use much of photoshop enhancement in this shot. Just crushed the blacks and gave it a little fade to get rid of some noise due to the use of an higher ISO than normal.

The next parts of the trip are going to be MAD! I don't even know what to post next lol!

First of all, what a sweet friend you are! Others would just say mehh with taking adventures.

Second, the shots are really great! Can't pick a favorite, tbh.
But but
I find this shot interesting:

It would be lovely if you discuss how you did this. :D

Haha, exactly what I thought at first... but then I thought: let's go on an adventure! Oeh! I might do a DLive session about with this one with the mic if everything is working, and if my head is ready for an easy explanation! :D

You better do :P Ping me once you're liveeeeee

Heya, I'm just swinging by to let you know you're being featured in our Daily Travel Digest!

Awesome! Thanks <3 !

Oh no you got me! Just when things were taking off I get hot with to be continued. I guess I will have to come back now.
I was really enjoying how you tell it like a story. It was especially funny to imagine you both trying to set up the camp quietly.
I would have blundered on that one.

Haha, us putting the tent together was fun indeed! The pump made so much noise I felt better to first set up the tent and blow it up inside the tent with the zippers closed. Obviously, it didn't really matter much but at least I tried. Thanks for tuning in and glad you liked it! There are a few more stories to be told. But I'll be taking some time to showcase the grand finale, its magical!

Cheers

Yeah I am sure that tent blocked off a ton of the sound lol
Well judging from the first bit if it gets even better it will definitely be a must read.

Haha, I know right! It did make me feel a little bit better about not disturbing the neighboring campers though. I'm going to do a few shorter posts as I take you guys along. The editing process takes a little bit more time to pop up bigger ones, just yet.

I don't blame you a bit. Sometimes I think a post is going to go fairly quick. I am always surprised to look up and see how much time has past.

Haha yeah, I use Hackmd.io for my markdown, sometimes I am on a roll and I pre-write parts of a post that I can work out later. Saves a ton of time!

I keep a few fill in the blank formats myself. It is great for similar type posts.
I don't post nearly as much as I should though. I much more enjoy reading posts and getting to know people.
I keep thinking about that banana milkshake.

Haha nice! I'm an awfully bad commenter. The time I have for Steemit is barely making it. I often read something, but its more fun to be able to talk to someone directly after you've read something, and that's where I freeze. The banana milkshake was pretty damn good!

Really nice travel story! I would also like to wake up in the mountains ⛰ with a great view and a coffee in my hand.

I will stay tuned, to see what will follow up next :-)

By the way I love this style of the photos. Looks like a filter that makes the photos a touch older 👌

Hey @Avizor! This was just the beginning! During the road trip, we saw so many beautiful places. At some we stopped, at some, we just enjoyed the view while driving through it.

Thanks! I always try to give my photographs a style that is unique to the shot. Quite the hassle, but definitely worth the time!

Cheers

Oh my god. Been off your blog for a bit and got reminded to be back as I saw you're also featured on @steemitworldmap post of the day! and glad I did because your blog is awesome as always!

Though, to be honest, I didn't finish reading (I'm not a reading type that's the reason) but I did go through all the photos and the view's so beautiful! I love how you edit the photos too! Classic! (right? that's the word for it? LOL)

Keep up and steem on! Oh! will you be at steemfest???

Heey @waybeyondpadthai! Thank youuuu so much! It's alright to not read everything, it's usually some nonsense that I'm sprouting anyways. I am doing shorter versions of stories because I can't keep up with editing otherwise. I do hope that you read the last part, as I am reaching out to the readers... I want to do a DLive streaming session where I want to go through some photographs.

I used to call these kinds of edits "vintage", classic goes in the same line of that right?

I'm afraid I am not, I might be in Thailand in November if I manage to save money for it ^^

Cheers

Oh my! I will be in Poland for travel a bit and for sf3 then!!!!! otherwise / if I'm here when you're here , would love to meet! and yes, I could even host A FEW nights in BKK. yeah, I actually saw one of your photograph editing on DLive, not live tho. didn't make it in time.

Hope you could make it to Thailand!

Haha yeah! It's not certain yet though! Might as well go to Poland, I don't know, depends on how many clients I can get before November! But Kraków is on my list to go as well... I'm going to travel with a friend, so when we are in Thailand we can meet if she's ok with it! Alsoooo got to go to Bali and Kuala Lumpur... but I don't want to get my hopes up if everything is not gonna happen in the end. So, work mode = beast mode at the moment, trying to land those jobs.

If you want me to do a (technical) explanation about a photograph, feel free to pick one from the posts from the road trip, or check out the ones in the future.

Wrong person for the photo really.. hahahahhahahahhaha 😭

What a journey! With really nice views and a great story too!

I hope you enjoy the rest of your journey.

And it is just about to get started! The view is amazing and memories have been made :-)
The rest of the journey was fun and I am still having an after-road trip-dip

howdy from Texas sir rubencress! so ya'll just live 2 hours from Switzerland? well shoot I'd drive over there quite often then! Those shots of the Niessen Mountain..gorgeous. Really stunning photos sir, fun post!

Hey @Janton, nono, it's about 8-10 hrs from where I live. So it was quite the adventure! Do you live/work in Switzerland? That's a treat of life! Thanks for passing by!

well howdy there runbencress! Well sir I don't live in Switzerland I live in Texas, United States. your blog looks great, much success to you!

Ah, sorry! I totally misread your comment earlier. If I was living 2 hours away from it, I would be sleeping in the car! Thanks again :-)

Thanks for dropping by! The comment section of my posts have been dead for quite a while, so seeing you here does me good! I added the post to the map! I think I saw it once or twice somewhere else but never thought of using it myself. Cool feature!

Yeah not getting any engagement sucks. I am pretty lucky there. All my posts get good comments at the moment. I do see plenty of great posts (like this one) that get none though, which is sad. No wonder people leave.

I wasn't entirely sure where in Switzerland you were, but now you're pinned to the map so I went and had a look! 👍 So helpful. I haven't been there.

Thanks a lot! Haha yeah, you're lucky :-p ^^ I have been off and on @ Steemit for a while, so that might be an issue as well :-p. Aeschi bei Spiez is a wonderful location, and if you ever plan to visit Switzerland, make sure to visit it! <3
