Attractions of Halong Bay: The complete Guide
Over the last couple of weeks I have been writing about the various attractions that are to be found in Halong Bay. Today I bring them all together in one handy guide. Halong Bay is a phenomenal destination in the Northeast of Vietnam. Created over 500 million years of evolution it is a superb biosphere, Unesco World Heritage site that was voted as one of the 7 “Wonders of Nature” in a world wide poll.
Approximately 1960 Karst rock formations rise imperiously out of the sea creating the most beautiful scenery imaginable. The best way to visit is to book a cruise on one of the many cruise boats that operate here. You will be amazed at the level of opulence they offer. Fine dining and superb accommodation are the order of the day.
The Bay offers so much to see and do it is an absolute must see area of Vietnam.

Wow, great article, thanks for all the links. I will try to add my favorites after I visit Ha Long!
It's a lovely place, sadly tourists are polluting the waters with plastic etc, but it is still very beautiful. Thanks for commenting.
Some rule should be applied against them .
Govt should also take action
It's a change of culture that is needed here more than anything. The locals simply throw rubbish from boats. They seem to have no understanding of pollution. It's the same in the cities, they think that when they throw it, someone will pick it up. It's almost like they believe they are keeping them in their jobs.
