How Not Knowing Blogging Makes You A Rookie

Today I learned blogging can be fun and easy.

I have been trying to find out why some of the blogs do better than others. I am convinced that timing is a big part of why one post will make it big yet another will not. I do also see that it comes down to formatting, and the content of what is in that very blog.

One of the main things I have seen here on SteemIt is blogs that include a picture or two tend to do much better at attracting votes than blogs that do not have images. The blogs with catchy titles, thanks @mindhunter for sharing in

Another way I have seen some blogs doing better than others is by the tags they include. Sometime the photography tag is used and the post does well, other times it is the story tag. Today we are seeing there is a new set of tags that are picking up steem.

Thanks to the post by @donkeypong and @the-alien

there are a few new tags that one can use and possible start getting a decent reward for the posts, and now from the article even the comments on makes. These new tags include #news, #funny, #til. Being new to blogging I had no clue how to use the tags. Doing a quick search on how to use tags on a blog I have learned that they are helpful in putting your blog into categories.

I must also thank @munteanu for his post yesterday on Blogging tools

So in conclusion, am I a rookie....

Your welcom

Always open your soul and blog from the heart - that is the BEST TIP I can give you @smysullivan!
I find that creative souls tend to be very empathetic to hearts that speak heart-felt words on here.
Thanks for mentioning me in your article :)

Thank you for the tips, I'm trying to use them as I can. I never like writing as a kid, so this is lots of hard work so far, but has been lots of fun.

Remember, the University of Life is always open ;) ... especially on Steemit!

I love that point, I'm doing my best to break my old habits. I started blogging just over one week ago. So I guess that means I still have plenty of time to learn.

Your welcome, just doing what I can to give credit o those who have helped me along the way.

Good work man, I posted similarly earlier in the day, I really felt some stuff we discussed recently was in that link in the story by the #SteemElders and it would help you too. Really good post, you may get over 200 votes on this one, that would be your first over 200?

Mine as such was earlier in the day too, we are learning the way together clearly LOL

I agree @mindhunter is a beast on here - great stuff by him
