100 DAYS OF STEEM : Day 23 - The Nominate a Newcomer Challenge #1
It really was interesting to read all your diary posts from last Saturday’s challenge.
It was great to get to know almost 50 of you that much better. Thank you for sharing your lives with us.
We will definitely be coming back to the Diary Challenge again, but we want to use the Saturday Challenge to try out a few different ideas.
So for this week’s Saturday Challenge we want you to make someone happy.
The Nominate a Newcomer Challenge
For this Challenge we would like you to find a newcomer to Steem and write a post about why you think they should be supported.
They should be someone who has joined in the past month, and someone with a fresh post that still has several voting days left.
They can be a person you know, or someone from a community you are involved in, or just a random newcomer you find by looking through the ‘introduceyourself’ / ‘introducemyself’ tags.
Your post should say why you think they show promise and should be supported, and what you like about the particular post of theirs that you are featuring.
You should include a comment on their post saying that you have nominated them, with a link to your post and a link to this challenge.
Include the tag #nominateanewcomer on your post and drop a link to your post in the comments below.
The posts can be in any language.
This challenge will run until next Friday, May 1st.
During the week we will be looking at all the posts and rewarding as many as possible with upvotes from the 1 million SP @steemcurator01 account.
We will be giving votes to your post AND to the newcomer’s post that you have featured. So make sure you get your entry in before their post has gone out of the voting period.

Hello to the Steemit Team, thank you very much for your support and this spot for the Knitrias Project in the Blog!! Looking forward for the start of the activities with the Members!!
It's important the challenge you are launching for this week, it will be very encouraging for new users but also a great experience for the curators of these new accounts. Let me put it in this way, some new accounts are created for milking the welcoming rewards, some of them are created with plagiarised material or simply generic content to make the introduction. It's highly recommended to check account creator and a little of the transaction history of the account.
Here an example I've recently found thanks to @SteemitasClub: POST
Many users are coming from more casual usage apps like Appics, Dlike or Actifit, some of them worth to invite to know more about the blogging side of Steem!!
It will be interesting to attend and visit all the entries for this challenge!!

I´m grateful for your valuation of the working plan and your attention with the progress. For now there are six candidates-members with which the project should start. This first group along with @Knitrias could be the scout team to look for the rest of the Team Members. I'm confident in these days the group will be almost complete.
As for the new accounts, yes, it's also an area where some abusers have found some ground for profit. I've found it's good to check for the creation of the account and possible incoming delegations, credible information in the posts and interactions via comments.
