Announcing A New Contest: Thankful Acts Of Kindess Co-Sponsored By @natureofbeing & @rebeccaryan

We're back (after 4 months) with another contest!

The dynamic duo who originally brought you the Random Acts Of Kindness Challenge, @natureofbeing and @rebeccaryan, have dreamed up a brand-new contest for all of you who purposefully live life to its fullest and from the heart! 

The original idea was to pool our collective voting power (between the two of us).

We upvoted and/or re-steemed submissions that we really felt matched the theme or left us with a memorable lasting impression.

Interacting and Making An Effort To Help Others Is Important And It's Important For The Health Of Steemit Too.

With that said, we're prepared to upvote and/or re-steem again (at our discretion) for posts that we think are truly exceptional. This time, we are also going to sweeten the pot a little.

(Some of you will know that I happen to love pot as a cannabis coach with a penchant for storytelling and @natureofbeing always has her finger in a few pots at the same time, as she's a working artist who specializes in clay and tile. If you haven't had a chance to visit her blog, I highly recommend that you do so. She's working on a commissioned piece which is a fabulous beach scene mosaic.)

I think that's fun and it is with great pleasure that we launch:

                   The Thankful Acts of Kindness Challenge

Here's what you need to do:

Write an original post that includes at least one photo that you've personally taken along with a true story about how you celebrate or have celebrated being thankful.

Here are some questions to help you think of ideas:

• Have you ever felt compelled by gratitude to commit a random act of kindness? Why and what? 
• Tell a story that shows how thankfulness works in your life or in someone else’s.  
• Did you buy extra food and donate it to a food bank? If so, what food did you choose to donate and why?
• Do you make a special family recipe that you only serve at certain times of the year to celebrate with friends and family? If so, why is it special to you? Could you share the recipe and its story?
• Or, have you ever invited an acquaintance to share a meal with you and your family, knowing that they would be all alone otherwise?

To Qualify:

• Use thankfulactsofkindness as your first tag. (The other 4 are yours to choose.)
• All stories must be non-fiction and contain at least one photo.
• All stories must be 150- 600 words.
• Post a link of your post as a comment on this post.
• All posts must be submitted before Thursday November 30th, 2017 at 12:00 noon E.S.T. (North America).

Winners will be announced and notified on Sunday December 3, 2017.
