Aah, I hadn't realized you replied! Steemit has no notification system for that? I'm still a bit confused lol in fact that comment was the first thing I posted here.
Yeah, it is funny though. The internet only provides a limited insight into someone's life and how we perceive is probably connected to how we compare it to our own, I guess. Navigating social media can be tricky like that.
Truth is we are expecting a lot of upgrades in the next HF20, however we don't know when that will be. Until then we do have a few awesome bots for notifications, namely the @Ginabot which is a discord based service.
Isn't all we perceive effected by the lens we see through, perspective right? :)

So I feel you're making a genuine effort in your comments feed, though the post you linked didn't offer much in my opinion. My best advice is not to ask others for votes, people will do so if they feel to. However vote for vote is a big turn off for many. Steem on :)
