I went out to get some more shots of people on the street, This first shot like so many on their street was so focused on his mobile device he had no idea I took his photo, but I was more aiming for people not focused on mobile devices so I walked around for more shots

I zoomed right out to get this shot of this guy sitting on the side of a building, initially I thought he was just resting.

But when I got closer in I noticed in fact he was busy on his mobile Phone, so I continued on.

I came across this family, sitting on the steps of the NY Public Library building on 5th Ave, they seemed to me to be tourists and the Parents I suspected were looking for directions on where they wanted to get to next, but at least in this shot there is a couple of people not looking at Mobile devices

And I finish of with this guy busy setting up a shop Window to busy to be on any device so I got at least one shot on that walk of someone not on a mobile device :)

Faces buried in phones....the series!

Most people are on their cell phone and miss out on the little details of life. And I have to include myself, coz sometimes I am so busy on the phone or on the computer that I forget to say hello or siimply smile at the people in front of me you know...
So lets pay a bit more of attention to real life!

@chiquibencomo Thanks for your honest feed back I am a bit of a technology geel but I do make time for people and walks without looking at my device maybe bein into photography helps me with that

@chiquibencomo its a style of photography I am not comfortable with yet but working on it
Least the humans know who their overloads are-- phones. It is quite scary just how glued everyone becomes to them. I know people who can’t even put them down long enough to eat an entire meal.
@enjar Ohh yes I know people like that our Grandkids and there parents being some of them, but they have now agreed to my rule no devices at meals, the grandkids hate it but kind of getting used to it, but i suspect its only when I am around LOL
No such luck on my end with adults accepting that rule. I suspect the same as well the moment you are not around or looking phone in hand!

It is somewhat disheartening to see even families with 24-7 attachment their technology. What did we do before?? Interesting
@birdsinparadise Yes even though I am a bit of a tech geek I dont rely on my mobile device 24/7 and I agree it is kind of sad to see so much of that these days
OMG this photo with roses looks amazing, simply amazing! Too bad many people are on the phone today, but at least you can take photos in peace haha :D
