Photography Contests FAQ
I want to address some questions here that I have been getting on a regular basis.
Participating
How do I participate?
Just share your photography while using the correct tag(found below).
Can I participate in both daily contests?
Yes you can, you can join as many contests as you want. Do make a separate post for each entry.
How often can I enter?
There is no max, but try to keep it at no more than 3 entries per category. Also, no spamming.
Do I need to share the link to my entry?
No, just using the correct tag will allow me to find your photo.
Photos
Can I use the same photo for multiple categories?
Yes you can, you can however only win once per photo.
Can I only use my own photos?
Yes, only use photos you shot and/or composed yourself.
Do I need to make new photos?
No, you are required to make new photos. However, making new photos will allow you to apply what you have learned. The only way to improve as a photographer is to make new photos.
Am I required to share all the metadata for each photo like you do? (camera, lens, settings etc)
You are not. It does however make your blog come over as more professional, making people more likely to follow you.
Contests
How long does each contest run?
Each contest runs for 7 days, so you can post your entry every day of the week. 24 hours before the deadline I post a reminder, most people tend to post on the last day.
Wha is the current payout for a certain category
Will be announced within the reminder message on the last day.
Winners and payout
When are the winners announced?
I try to get out my selections the day after at 12:00 and 14:00 UTC
When are the prizes payed out?
Usually this is done on the same day, later in the evening.

I noticed most of my entries receive the auto response from @photocontests World of Photography Beta V1.0. However, some do not. Is there a way to find out if my entry was received?
There is a COMMENT section which shows 0/5 comment.
Where have to do comment...

i want to ask that there is travel category so can we allow more then 1 photo in that post or only one photo because if i want to share 3 photos in same post for travel category then can i do it?
You can do both. Personally if they have the same theme I would just group them together. However, if they are quite different from each other, they deserve their own post ;p

Can I upload same photo in a day? Like I uploaded photo for smartphonephotography but after sometime I think that this photo shold be in goldenhourphotography tag. So I upload again with the tag goldenhourphotography. Can I do it?

same problem as @jarosalawszafran, I already posted 6 photos in differentv category. I do not see what is wrong? I do not receive comment from @photocontests as other people get . Did I do something wrong ? or does it mean my picture is not in your selection of the contest?
