The Gold/Silver VS Bitcoin/Cryptos Debate Continues
A theory exists: The reason some see BTC/Crypto better for long-term investment is because of the up-jolts in price. I tend to go along too with this theory as we humans naturally follow "the movers" rather then using rational thinking and invest into the "flat-liners." See, the cycle of cycles will tell you that it is inevitable that precious metals will when their time comes receive those "crypo like jolts."
A different theory:
The best used hypothetical situation to prove another theory is like Puerto Rico's where almost the entire island has no power or internet access. You go to your local grocer or shop owner for some shopping and off course they take dollars, off course they take gold coins and off course they would take some pre-65 US Junk silver coins, but off course they would not take Bitcoin, not because they don't believe in crypto currency, but because there is not power.

This chart shows what an excellent short term investment BTC was? maybe could still be more?
This chart someone made is "no good" in this situation therefore in some persons books many BTC not real money because it simply does not exist-
This debate will hold for a while at least when talking about the developing world or when natural disasters like this happen. But like your last chart shows, its only a matter of time before people realize how amazing the blockchain is and how much better it is for everyone, except the government
Very true - it actually points out why we need to have all 3 handy. Putting all our eggs in one basket won't do us any good at this point. ...the bottom chart could be gold/silver and that changes the Sovereign to probably Moderate. The Divisibility and Decentralized might change too depending on interpretation.
