Round #37 is here and this one will be a bit of a Comment Challenge Special. @yasu24 has kicked off a Japanese version of this comment challenge and I have agreed to sponsor the winners weekly with a 200SP delegations. Please read on to find out more about this week's Comment Challenge Special.

- If the judges can not reach a consensus, they will each pick one candidate and flip a coin. @dorabot will be used for this in MSP's Discord server.
- If the winner is not a Minnow, the prize will be split in 2 and the other half paid out to the best Minnow. After all, this is a competition to encourages Minnows, so hopefully that will be fair.
- A Minnow is someone with less than 5K SP.

As mentioned above, this is a special edition. As the featured post is written in Japanese, I don't expect you to understand and comment directly related to that post.

Well, I was only able to read that post and was able to understand just some lines which tells, "everyone" and such stuff. But most of the time, it's a really good thing to read a post from a foreign language especially if you're learning it. By that, you become able to read that language and to understand little by little. I would really like to read post written in Japanese in the near future because I will be able to understand Japanese real soon. I think that posts written in Japanese will also help Japanese people to easily understand what the post says.
Talking about this project, it's a great support for minnows like us to find success. Especially the newbies get to know how to make a good comment. I would like to give my support by resteeming this post

Thanks for the confirmation. and for doing another contest. These are really fun. ๐
I think the Japanese version of the contest is really a great idea and I don't think anyone would rebuff it. It is also a turning point that could pave way to the introduction of other versions - like Spanish, Chinese, etc - which would ultimately expand the horizon of this "comment challenge" to other channels and give room for those who don't understand (speak/write) English to contest.
More so, the Japanese will be able to communicate in their dialect with ease, knowing fully well that that's the language they are more familiar with.
I think I have some ideas on how to bring this contest to other communities. Firstly, is to approach those who are from non-English speaking countries and/or those who are familiar with other languages like French, Spanish and Chinese. Then inform or tell them about the contest and the benefits they will derive. We could start from two countries then, gradually, others could be incorporated. With time, this contest would go global and help dozens of people and even more donors would surface.
What I love about this challenge is that it has been a means of helping and supporting newbies to grow in this community. The challenge has also helped people develop the ability to comment thoughtfully and genuinely while still making new friends in the process.
However, one thing I dislike about the challenge is that only two people will benefit from the challenge. I think provision should be made for third position if not more.

A question. Norwegian salmon, from which we cook many kinds of sushi, are bred on fish farms. I know what is it. Fish from birth is bathed in products of vital activity. I'm wondering, in Japan, such a fish is used for cooking, or use only fish caught in rivers and oceans?

Thank you @danielsaori ! You're right. Our country is very far from sources of fresh fish, which can be used in sushi. I do not have fastidiousness when I myself catch in the sea of shrimp and pick mussels, I can eat them in raw form. But, this is not the main reason. I have not tried these sushi and do not want to spoil the first impression. Those sushi that we sell, I very much doubt that they have much in common with traditional sushi. As an option, learn to make yourself a sushi)) Then there is a second problem. It's hard to find eels, I can smack him)))

I mainly want to say that these kinds of challenges, where anyone of any language is encouraged to engage, will be the means by which STEEM as a social media platform thrives. In reality, we should be engaging for our own best interests, as well as the long term health of the platform, but provide a contest with some prize money and people tend to come to it.
Because English is the predominant language here, other language speakers feel compelled to interact as much as they can, and while that's fine, and perhaps even helpful for those trying to improve their English language abilities, it can also be restricting and counterproductive. Knowing that there are similar contests in their own language that people can support may go towards building areas of STEEM in those languages so there's no longer the need to go into English as much. I think it's good to learn another language, especially English, but it's also a benefit to build up languages to help support those where learning English will be difficult.
It seems to me that among the different languages there are bound to be those who are already leading in some capacity that would be interested in sponsoring or helping in producing contests in those languages. Someone will need to head these up. The natural leaders are a good place to start.

Well, I'm not sure about my suggestionsโthey seemed rather obvious to do. I have to agree with you that adding more placings if possible would be great. It looks like potentially more donations are in order then, which means more people need to know about this particular contest. More prize money seems to work pretty well for abh12345's engagement leagues, so hopefully it can be incorporated here, too.

I see many people joining this and other contests even though their English is not up to par. I have no problem with that myself, instead, I find it interesting. Sometimes the passion can overcome any language deficiencies and that is something beautiful to witness. :)
But for the growth of STEEM, I think it will probably do more good if people have an option to compete in their own native language. It will help showcase that language on the platform.

We met in the Japanese community and Yasu was interested to try this contest out in Japanese.
My Dad do tell me something before he died he said my son, never be afraid to do something new even if the world will criticize you for it,just do it and do it well.
Having this contest in another language is a welcome idea considering the fact it fooster more unionson and gives the japanese too a greater sense of belonging on the platform. In another way its promoting their culture and adding more value to the steemit platform.
Do you Know I aint dissapointed with the first edition, the theme of discussion is so great that I want to get involved in it""What I'd like to do if I can live with Steemit's rewards only". I guess I can be able to promote my culture then, and barnish poverty among my kindred and give the teen a worthwhile life experience.
One thing I will just like to correct is the the English edition was never limited to the English community, so neither should the Japanese edition be limited to the Japanese, for more popular participation.Just my thought thou. Thanks so much @danielsaori and @yasu24

The thing your dad told you is a lesson of a lifetime, something we all should live by.
For both this and the Japanese edition there is nothing preventing anyone from participating, it is only a rule to follow a specific language. And that is predominately a practical matter as it is difficult to accommodate such a contest without a certain level of fluency.
