What curators are doing for me?

Dear Steemitians

today i got reward of my post:

This is what i got:

Past Payouts $14.77

  • Author $11.42

  • Curators $3.35

as per my curiosity i went to my wallet to check what curators are giving me:

What a shit! ZERO! So i look for something to understand this TAX is using for:

So one question is coming to me, do i make shit post right now??
Where is incentive to me to make post which curators like?
As i wrote in my post i am really upset, i hope that someone who is the owner of truth will make my doubt turn off....

    All the upvotes you receive are acts of curation. Each upvoter is a curator, including the bots you purchase the votes from. When they upvote you, they also receive a share in the rewards, the curation reward.

    You receive curation rewards when you upvote a post. You receive curation rewards calculated based on the upvote you cast, when you cast it, who else casts votes, and other metrics, which I don't pretend to fully understand.

    Basically, you won't receive much in the way of curation rewards until you have a very, very large stake.

    The curation rewards received from a given post are shared between all the upvoters of the post, between all the curators.
