Steemit Sports Betting Curation August
Despite all these effort, the actual results have been rather disappointing with slow progress lately. Steemit remains a very hard platform to sell to Sports Bettors on the Internet and it is mostly the core group who have a drive to grow and are willing to stand up and take some initiative to make things happen. Some of the things we aimed to make happen and still would like to see more.
- Members with growing mindset who improve on their posting and have a real drive to grow their account SP.
- More Social interaction between SBC members
- Community driven Voting bahavior which means smaller members mostly upvoting each other while they get upvotes from the bigger accounts and the @sbcbot which help everyone grow.
- Members that step up and take some initiative and action to help the community grow. One example on how this can be done is by scouting for new sports bettors that join Steemit and giving them a warm welcome while guiding them in the good direction.
Our own time is also limited and we can only do so much. With the progress on Steemit slowing down along with many only seeming to care about the @sbcbot upvotes or the SBC League prize payouts instead of the actual community, it is honestly getting increasingly discouraging to continue. I am not yet giving up and still hope help create a community with enough members to actually get something going.
This curation list will continue and I increased the upvotes along with adding some of the names that have not made the list in the past. The EPL Betting Contest is also back (even though I lacked time to run it last week) and will give exclusive prizes to SBC members. The regular 0.01$ upvote is not required for SBC Members as long as their voting patterns are more community driven. (Read This Post) The @sbcbot is still giving out solid upvotes thanks to Paul (@stimp1024) his delegation and Peter (@fullcoverbetting) has been posting with that account and even added a bounty from @steem-bounty to some of the posts to increase member interactions. All this would not have been possible without all the work Sasha (@beat-the-bookies) has put into toe SBC! Thanks Guys

We all have limited time and a community can only be a community if we all interact with each other!
Do underestimate your own work for the community, you brought us all together!
I do hope that we can pay the prizes from the SBC league with the upvotes of our members on the posts from the SBC account!

Great to see you sticking to Steemit during times when the price is at these lows
I'm pretty new here, but I feel like I learned a lot already and I really appreciate all you have done and do. I'm glad you are not giving up!
Before I entered this community I knew nothing about bankroll management, bet strategies, not taking too low bets, etc. I think I improved in only 2 weeks just only by keeping track of my bets.

Steemit is a really great way to imporve your own betting and the results themselves far less important to earn a biot along the way compared to other platforms.
