Meet the Monitor Steemit Provided

in #steemit7 years ago (edited)

I've been posting consistently on Steemit for the last few months, and it's great to be able to have something tangible to show for it.

I will be building my own desktop soon and seeing as I have a corner desk I opted to go with the curved monitor by Samsung. @silascjgoss recommended I go with the curved option, and after having set it up I can confidently say it was worth the extra cash!

Switching from a small 10 in screen on my Chromebook to this setup will certainly be a boon to my productivity, as I now have the possibility of keeping multiple tabs open.

And it's thanks in no small part to Steemit :)

A few of my recent posts have done well enough to cash out a few hundred USD worth of SBD. It certainly helps that SBD's have been going for around 7-8 dollars the past week. Nevertheless, it is truly gratifying to know that I can buy real world objects simply by posting about things I'm passionate about.

Purchasing solid objects with digital money makes this whole experience that much more real. The next step is to start selling SBD for Bitcoin Cash and loading it to a Bitpay card. Every time I pay for drinks or a meal with friends can be another advertisement for crypto and Steemit ;)

Much love to @copperchildren and @smartcash for filling my monitor screen for this picture :)

Dope monitor man! And congrats on the accomplishment. It's so exciting to operate in this way. Great idea with the bitpay card!

My goal next month is to pay my rent via steemit. It's going to happen ;-)

Absolutely, it's totally possible. If a few whales and dolphins help ya out every now and then, it goes a long way

@colinhoward. Your story just motivated me. I joined this platform just last week and hope very soon I'll have a testimony like yours to share . It's time to put in more work

Glad to hear it!

It is definitely possible, just stay persistent and the rewards will follow. Engaging the community helps, so you're on the right path :)

Actually you got someone to give you real money then you used the real money to buy your new screen. No business can operate on an unstable currency. you can't have the value of your inventory swinging wildly from day to day. Bitcoin can take an hour for a transaction to confirm, no business can operated like that. the value can change from hour to hour. will never work as actual currency.
