Steemit Iron Chef 2017 #02 is closed - Record 23 valid entries received - What a week again!!! Thank you all!

Hello everyone!

Welcome back to the daily post of @steemit-ironchef! Man... what a last day of contest again...You guys will surely make me crazy! 12 entries on the final day!? Wow! Making it a record of entries...23 in all! Just as a reminder, for week 1, I received 21 valid!!!

It's great to see that nearly everyone is respecting all the rules! Keep it up my friends!

So finally I received a record 23 valid entries! Amazing participation rate again, I think the amount will keep on rising in the following weeks with many new ones joining surely + those who missed the first two weeks!

I will start the judging process shortly and if before I go through all of the entries , I notice someone sending an entry, i will surely take a look and hopefully include it just for not penalizing the contestant!

The results will be announced on Saturday and the new theme for the 2nd week will be sent tomorrow, both on @progressivechef's blog!
So make sure to follow him to keep updated!

p.s. The total potential payouts by all entries using the steemit-ironchef tag is at the moment +$460! That's really great achievement, as it indicates that the contest is really being appreciated by many people on steemit! Last week it was $250!

What to say about this entry!? If @haphazard-hstead was not in our contest, I would never have known that we did have wild carrots too! Her post is a must read my friends, a real foodie needs to learn from this lovely lady, she is always giving so much informations on the foraged foods she uses in her dish! Like I said, it’s really a unique entry!
