As unfortunate as it is to come up short.. It still brings me great pleasure to pay this opportunity forward.
Let me start off by reminding you how much I really was hoping to attend this event and spend one awesome weekend in Amsterdam, kicking it with all my fellow artist, creators, nerds and dorks. I especially wanted to meet the movers and shakers of the anarchist movement to extend my knowledge further into this interesting concept or correct me if I'm wrong, "lifestyle". With time running out and so many task at hand needed to get done to make this happen, I've had to accept the fact that $2,500 ain't something to try and pull out my ass like I thought might be possible. Sure I've made some progress today but for the most part, a $1200 roundtrip flight just ain't in the pockets of this TV star.
Pay It Forward
When your as passionate and creative about everything you create, as I am.. you expect the same in return. That being said... I would like to challenge anybody wanting to win my steemfest ticket with the following proposal.

I must share with you this must read blog which includes the greatest mind to ever walk this planet, Barney Stinson who was gracious enough to share his "ONE RULE TO LIVE BY". This rule is my ONE & ONLY RULE you must follow before submitting a comment to be eligible for the ticket to steemfest

I will choose the person with the most interesting, creative, clever and original comment, explaining why they deserve this ticket. I will make my final decision after this post expires tomorrow evening and the winner will be another step forward in to attending the event.

If you already familiar with my work... you already know how crazy and original I can get so best believe, I'm going to be looking for some mind boggling top quality "GRADE A" comment well deserving of my ticket.

While I'd rather @robyneggs got the ticket, if you pick me, it would make mine and another persons (@anasya) trip to the SteemFest easier. We'll split the price of a ticket between us, and that would be great.

ahh gotcha.. well, this contest is based off how creative and original you can be to win this ticket... sometimes you just gotta think outside the box or step away from the norm to flourish artistically.
I was in Buryatia since I've joined steemit. It is near lake Baikal, just above the Mongolia. But now Im going to Moscow, since a) it is closer to Amsterdam, b) my base of operrations is there. 8)
Well, I am all about moving to Moscow via train right now. Creativity is something that I'll be capable of once I'm off the train. :-D

I am really glad that I've heard about Steemit and I am enjoying my time here. But just writing articles is now not enough for me, so I've decided to make videos about how I learn my way around in cryptocurrencies and the blockchains. May be soon I'll make my videos with English subtitles.
And it would be great to get acquainted with the likeminded individuals and to be able to go to the city of my dreams.

Nice comment... I like your effort and I even tried using auto translate on youtube to get a better understanding of your video submission. I feel that maybe, video subtitles would help. Either way, good job and I will consider this.
