As usual the only thing constant in life is change and we have made some changes to the mag which will become clearer over the course of the next few weeks. We obtained new designs courtesy of @samminator of the genesisproject group.

Previously on STEEM COSMO...

Last season on the mag, we had a spectacular run, featuring top authors who fill in different leadership roles in the community. From developers to moderators and people from all walks of life, we had you covered.

STEEM COSMO with @voronoi

voronoi.jpeg

- STEEM COSMO: We say a big welcome to all our readers after a big break from publishing new articles, today with us is someone special, he is the co founder of the @sndbox project and we know him as @voronoi. Can you tell us how you joined this train(steemit)
- @voronoi: I joined Steemit as a designer who was interested in how art can merge with the world of blockchain tech.

- STEEM COSMO: I can see how you have helped a lot of people design their lives. Now we know the steemian, we wish to get a little personal with the man behind the computer. Can you kindly shed more light on your likes and dislikes as an individual?
- @voronoi:I love STEEM and the community here on Steemit...I dislike regular social media websites now. Facebook feels boring and out of date!

- STEEM COSMO: So I must admit, when you join steemit, nothing ever feels the same way again, even facebook! Speaking of our great platform (steemit), there are so many "tag developers" as I would like to call them and numerous tags available, do you have a favorite, if yes, care to share?
- @voronoi: Art. It was the reason I joined Steemit. Seeing art and photography within the first few tags made me feel very optimistic about the value of creativity on Steemit.

- STEEM COSMO: Indeed, art is life. Still on the talks of the platform, there is a saying which goes the only thing constant in life is change, can you kindly tell us ways in which the platform can improve and become better?
- @voronoi: Growth and diversity. Steemit needs to draw in people from all backgrounds, all trades and all practices. I’ve seen a lot of people open Steemit.com and be discouraged by the trending page, because all they see is content about cryptocurrency, trading and hardforks. (Stuff they might be overwhelmed by.) I tell them to think of the bigger picture! If you don’t see the content you like, begin to create it yourself. This platform is so new and so raw. Leverage that new-ness to build up niches and communities. It’s an exciting time to be on the internet!

- STEEM COSMO: Wow! so many points to pick from there, I guess with how busy here has become, can you give out your candid advice to steemians on the platform?
- @ voronoi: Be persistent, be patient and experiment.
Don’t be discouraged if you receive low payouts. Remember, even if you make 1 single cent, that’s still more than Facebook or Instagram has ever paid you. It took me over a month to make my first dollar on Steemit. If you are consistent and experiment with content, you’ll find friends and a voice on Steemit. It takes time to build a following from scratch. Engage and comment on the blog posts of others - don't be shy, say hello!

- STEEM COSMO: Those were honest words, care to share about your experience so far on steemit?
- @voronoi: It has been an incredible ride so far. Earlier this summer @hansikhouse and I built STEEM Park in Brooklyn, New York. We raised over 10,000 USD through blogging on Steemit and used the proceeds to build park furniture and planters for a neighborhood that really needed them. We're also making a STEEM Park documentary film, which should be released within the next few weeks (stay tuned!)
This was an exciting project for us, because it proved that you could USE cryptocurrency to fund very real and impactful ideas. Now, the two of us have started @sndbox, which is an incubator guild for creatives and communities. Our goal is to educate the public on Steemit and help others use STEEM to empower their creative work

- STEEM COSMO: Steem park really created a new waves of ideas, let us talk about the future. Where do you see yourself five years from now?
- @voronoi: Constructing buildings with STEEM. In 2017 @sndbox made a community garden, five years from now, who knows - we could be making cities. I am an urban designer and architect by trade, so I like thinking of Steemit as a real-life community building experiment.

- STEEM COSMO: While we are still having talks of the future and time, if you had a time machine, what will you change?
- @voronoi: I’d probably go back in time and buy bitcoin in 2010.

- STEEM COSMO: How do you feel minnows can grow faster on the platform?
- @voronoi: Band together and support one another. Make connections, experiment and collaborate with people from all over the world. We’re all new here - minnows, dolphins, sharks and even the whales. This is a brand new ecosystem and all of us need to put a little extra effort into making this community a major success.

- STEEM COSMO: Before we round up, can you give a shout out to two steemians?
- @voronoi: Big shout out to @hansikhouse. He’s sitting right next to me as I type this! Also to @erb, he’s a crazy talented artist and an old friend.

TWO GREAT WRITERS AND THEIR CONTRIBUTION TO LITERATURE, ITS EVOLUTION, AND MODERN DAY WRITING.

Two writers have over time proven themselves to be topnotch trend creators, leaving their works in the hearts of men, even years after their death, and making many proud to associate with them.
More writers have achieved this, but just these two are the reason we are here.

William Shakespeare and Sidney Sheldon.

ABOUT WILLIAM

William Shakespeare was born and baptized in Stratford on the 26th of April in 1564.
He got married at the age of 18 to Anne Hathaway who was 26 as at the time. Through Anne, he fathered Susanna, and a later set of twins, Hamnet and Judith.
He lived with his family in Stratford where he bought the second largest house from which he travelled frequently to London for work purposes.

William Shakespeare, popularly known as The Bard of Avon, is widely regarded as the greatest writer in the history of English Language. Only 38 of his plays survived, with 36 in print, and 154 of his sonnets, with two long poems.
It is not debatable that he is still the highest ranking author of the best selling fictions of all time, with a long span estimate of four billion works sold under his name. Isn't that awesome?

You might want to complain about how old his works are, but they have successfully stood the test of time.
He, being the best selling fiction author of all time, pulls a point on his relevance in modern day literature. He is still being studied in schools till today, and all his books have been converted into motion pictures, even after over 300 years of his death. No man born would go formally down the line of Literature and not hear of the legend Shakespeare, who made contribution to the modern day English by simply engineering new vocabulary and phrases, better than any other writer who has ever lived.
He died on April 23, 1616.

Sidney Sheldon

You do know the late Sidney Sheldon, and if you don't, well, you should.
He was the man who had the ability to make you sit with your sense in place, heartbeat off pace, thumb flicking and mind racing like a defective pointer scale.

ABOUT SIDNEY

Sidney Sheldon was born on February 11, 1917 in Chicago. He was born by his German- and Russian-Jew parents. He graduated from East High School after which he attended Northwestern University on a scholarship, but dropped out after some months to give support to his family.

His first marriage was with Jane Kaufman Harding in 1945. The marriage only lasted two years. After, he admitted that the whole marriage was a mistake that would never work.

Later, he got married to Jorja Curtright, a stage and film actress. This was his second marriage, and it lasted 30 years, producing a daughter, Mary Sheldon.
Four years after Jorja died, Sidney moved on and got married to Alexandra Joyce Kostoff.

During his lifetime, he won an Academy (Oscar) Award, and a Tony Award.

Sidney Sheldon was an American writer, who smashed his way into limelight in 1930. He still ranks the seventh author of best selling fictions of all time with an estimate of over six hundred million copies sold.

Sidney was one author who mastered the craft of writing so well.
He had this uniqueness in plot setting and creation.
His uniqueness with location fixing was also just on point.
You can't read one piece of Sidney's work and not feel like you are witnessing the scenes live.
There is something about his scene creation. He put every line aside, and made everything so distinct, that you wouldn't want to miss a line. He made everything count.
His scenes were always colored with fast moving pace.
His character justification is top-notch, creating characters you can relate with; ones real enough to make you worry. One of the greatest troubles he gives every reader, is the inability to determine what will happen next.

Sidney Sheldon has written 18 novels, a number of plays and an autobiography.
He died of pneumonia in January 30, 2007.
Over time, writers have lived, equal or greater than these two in a way or two, but greatness all-round can't be measured by the ability to do well at a few things. Greatness means different things to different people, and people judge others by different measures.

"Technifying" our world

It is no longer news that technology is advancing at an astronomical rate. Permit me to say that "ancientism" has been totally overridden by the modernity associated with the 21st century emerging technologies.
Technology is the future way of living in the "now" (quote me). No wonder we've seen advancing being made to

merge humans with machines, leading to enhanced hybrid humans. A friend of mine once told me this:

Technology is only mind-limited. As long as you can conceive it in your mind, it can be actualized.

Remember this: A perfectly advanced technology is almost indistinguishable from magic. A very insanely advancing field is in the area of Cybernatic. Humans are now becoming more botty; and bots are now becoming more human. There's just a very thin blue line separating both.

Believe me when I tell you this: with this trend of tech evolution, very soon, those that missed to update themselves technologically will be lead like blind people in "techy" terrains. Humorously, they could be lead by robots.

The most fascinating aspect of tech evolution is that it covers the entirety of human existence. Even the area of medicine is not left out. I told a friend that very soon, the need for organ donation will be potentially side-lined. Because synthetic organs and lab-grown organs will take care of this.

Like I've always said:

In the world of emerging technology, nothing is impossible. And those that say that something is impossible are almost generally interrupted by the people already doing the impossible.

As a way of conclusion, I need to drop this very important note: whatever we've seen in the world of tech is nothing compared to what is coming. Tech can only get better. We should all brace up to embrace it.
Tech Rules!

Thanks for doing the interview sir, it was a great honor

Awesome interview @voronoi and @ehiboss! I love your sentiment about even if you get 1 cent, it's still more than you would get on Instagram or facebook. It's difficult being new and finding your voice but your words are very encouraging.

This is really cool @ehiboss. With this new innovation, the sky is just a stepping stone for you. Steem on boss.

Thank you ma, it is indeed the stepping stone for us all.

It is always interesting to read about how different people join steemit and their contribution to the platform.

I like how you concluded by dropping my two favorite authors. I read Complete Works of Shakespeare. The book was sitting on our shelves and I was pretty bored :)

Sidney was a great author, I remember reading two of his works. They are Bloodline and Windmills of the Gods. I remember rereading it for I liked his style of writing. Never really knew he had passed. I always consider authors immortal, at least their book is! Nice one.

What have you not read? I fear you sha, be like say you are my new best friend o

I spent my childhood reading. I've read so many books that I can't remember ⅛th of it!

It always good, seeing change taking its place. Here changes of some graphics will go a long way of affecting members of steemit positively, even to the prospective members. @@@steemit. you are doing a great job most in upgrading the interest of nigerians (Nigeria community) to this great platform @steemit. Nice job sir

Thank you sir

Steem cosmo has really entered its beta stage. This "mustard seed" initiative shall see more growth.
