Pow! Another big day on Steem.
Steem-Engine.com announces SCOTs for tokenizing communities.
There's news from DrugWars, NextColony, DLease and Ureka.org.
And the 50/50 post reward debate rolls on.
1. Steem-Engine.com announces SCOTs
Steem-Engine.com co-founder @aggroed has announced the coming of SCOT - Smart Contract Organizational Token.
The Steem-Engine.com project has now begun live testing of the prototype called Novel Distribution : Smart Contract Organizational Token (ND SCOT).
Pending the arrival of SMTs, SCOT will allow communities to tokenize now...
You have a community and you'd like to monetize it. You create a token, distribute it, and users stake it. They go to yourcoolwebsite.com where you run something that looks a lot like steemit.com (condenser) or your own custom UI; however, the rewards are in COOL tokens, the users don't see every steem post out there by default, and you have more control of what's happening on the site. You've created your own custom website, from and for your own community, with your own token, and it distributes similarly to Steem. It trades on steem-engine.com against Steem but you can trade it for BTC, LTC, BCH, and DOGE nor or against ETH/EOS/BTS/Tron in the near future.
The coming of SCOT has got @midlet excited...
2. DrugWars introducing in-game wallets
The DrugWars team have announced that they are working on implementing in-game wallets to store FUTURE tokens.
Battle rewards are also increasing.
The FUTURE token is now being listed on a second exchange - cryptox.pl.
3. NextColony - snippets, tasters and teasers
NextColony fan @art-universe has posted some snippets and tasters of what might be coming soon in Steem's newest space strategy game...
4. Leasing SteemPower on DLease
@buildteam discuss the benefits of leasing SteemPower on DLease...
5. Integration of Steem into Ureka.org moving closer
Witness developer @ura-soul reports that the integration of Steem into the social network he runs, Ureka.org - Earth Heart Community, is progressing well.
