🍬Steem Bounty inside! 5 random things about me

in #steem-bounty6 years ago (edited)

I decided to write my first personal post thanks to the challenge created by @twodorks. However, I want to change its format to a shorter and more condensed one, so I prepared 5, instead of 10, random things about me.

@route-m-d, a couple of Polish travelers, invited me to take part. So I decided to accept this challenge for a simple reason. I want to get to know you better!
So after reading this short text let me know if something of these things sounds familiar to you? Or maybe you have completely different experiences and views?

In this post you will also find something sweet - it's a Steem Bounty! For the authors of the most interesting comments I have prepared 2 SBD to split!
So choose one or more questions and answer in the comment.
Let's start!

1

I’m minimalistic. This means that all my things can now fit into one backpack and that's enough for me. I think that the fewer things we have, the less we are enslaved by them.

Do you have that as well? Or maybe you are obsessed with some items and want to have more of them? If so, write down what things you collect.

I like to discover the unknown. Since May I have been in Asia, previously I had lived in Poland. I hadn't been in Asia before, I didn't have a large amount of money, I didn't even have a job that would allow me to earn money. However, after I had decided to leave, I was very happy and I didn't feel any fear.

And how about you? Do you prefer to have everything planned and insured, or you are open to the unknown?

3

I like clear and concrete conversations and I just can't read between lines. Really. If I don't receive specific information, I can't fulfill someone's hidden request or even read someone's intentions. I am also not good at small-talk. You have the same? Or you are the life and soul of the party?

4

I love to discover hidden meanings in art, especially in paintings. Do you know one of the most popular hidden meanings in Rembrandt's "The Return of the Prodigal Son"? If not, pay attention to the fact that the father's hands have different shapes.

Rembrandt - The Return of the Prodigal Son

One hand symbolizes the female element, more precisely the mother’s love, the other has a male shape and means a father's love.

Do you also like to find a deeper meaning in artworks?

I like to work without any restrictions. I work best when I don't have a boss and I can plan the whole project myself. During the planning process I ask myself countless questions and thanks to that later I can prepare a plan with several different variants for the future.

How do you like to work? In a group or on your own? Do you run your own company, are you freelancers or maybe you have found your ideal job?

I look forward for your comments! I'm very curious if something from this list sounds familiar to you? :)

In the challenge, I should also answer the question asked by @route-m-d:
If you could move back in time, who you'd like to meet with?

I would love to meet Salvador Dali, a surrealist artist. I would take part in one of his crazy parties and ask him how he does it, that apart from the painting, he also carries out commercial orders?

To take part in the challenge I nominate: @delishtreats, @nomadicsoul and @chekohler.
And I have a question for you:

Which of your dreams would come true if you had unlimited amount of money for this purpose?

You can take part in the challenge or just reply in a comment. I am curious to hear your answers! ;)

All entries to this challenge can be found using the #tenrandomthings tag.
And here you can directly find out why @jaynie sleeps with banana?
How many days @mrprofessor didn't take a shower? lol
And what superpowers Monika and Daniel, from @route-m-d, have?

I like to be minimalist too and live a lean life unless its shoes that's the only thing item I have too many of. Other than that I don't need much! Oh wow you're pretty brave taking a bold risk like that but from the sound of it, its paid off and you're enjoying every moment of it, life is made up of these big decisions and creating your own path

Oooh, I got challenged? hmmm guess I have no choice now do I?

Oh, I didn't think you're a minimalist. So you are also a shoe maniac. lol What kind of footwear do you have the most?
I like to take risks but only when I feel it will be good for me. Living under palm trees has always been my dream. I'm also a lucky person and I can rely on myself so I knew I could do it. And now I am the happiest in my whole life.
Of course, you may not take up the challenge and become a coward. lol

Lol I think its because I don't like clutter and i'm kinda OCD with things like that. I have mostly sneakers, heres a picture of some of them. Ah that sounds like the life and it just shows being brave can get you the life you really want!

Lol oh now I HAVE to take on your challenge because I'm not a coward 😛

Wow, you can surely become a fashion blogger! Each day of the month you have a different pair. These black-and-white shoes on the right look like tap shoes. lol

I do not like to speak under hahaha I am the soul of the parties, in fact I love to sing. On the other hand, I do not like to have everything planned, I love that life surprises me, always trying to be in the best possible way. Know, discover and enjoy the unknown.

If I had unlimited money, I think I was traveling with my family all over the world, starting with knowing all of Europe.

"discover and enjoy the unknown" - beautifully said, I like it!
And what a wonderful dream! I hope it will come true :)

Hooooray @see-it-feel-it, thanks for the shout out.

I loved that you decided to just go over the fear of the unknown and compacted your life into a backpack. We only realise how we can live with a handful of items once we actually do it.

Do you prefer to have everything planned and insured, or you are open to the unknown?

I normally have a general idea when I'm out traveling, I want to go from A to B, what happens in the mean time is always a mistery. It's awesome to see that you also live life this way too.

How do you like to work? In a group or on your own? Do you run your own company, are you freelancers or maybe you have found your ideal job?

I believe that I don't have a formal work anymore, I don't even know how it'll evolve in the future since my income comes mainly from Steem. Just having the freedom to figure it out myself, without a boss checking what I'm doing, is already a bless. Even if I become a homeless digital nomad \o\o\

Which of your dreams would come true if you had unlimited amount of money for this purpose?

Hmmm pretty tricky since I'm a really realistic guy, I have it clear on my mind what is achievable and what is not - it's good to maintain happiness. As much as I believe that my dream to visit Antartica would come true if I had unlimited money, I still think I'll achieve it one day. So, I'd say that money would make it easier to fulfil my dreams hahaha.

"homeless digital nomad" lol :D
After reading your entry, I think you like to plan and be careful, but it's true when you're traveling you should always be open to something unexpected.
Do you want to visit Antarctica? Why? :D I always wonder why people want to visit cold places on earth.
Of course, I hope that you will be rich soon and you will be able to explore these frozen areas. Although I suspect that you can beat your record of not taking a shower there. lol

HAHAHA oh yeah, on those temperatures I'll beat the record without a doubt!

I think that Antarctica fascinates me by the vastness and solitude, I kinda like those two things. It's also a place where we can feel free, since there's no government to stop you, it's almost an utopic place.

I've heard from sailors that everyone that once goes there, comes back a different person, with new visions of the world.

What is your ultimate place to visit and why?

Wow meeting penguins, no government, brain freeze (and not only brain), for sure changing the view of the world! lol It sounds like a beautiful plan. I'm curious how it will affect your life.
I would like to see so many places, but the ultimate one is South Africa. I was born there but I haven't visited it again yet. Have you been in SA?

Butt freeze \o\ and also endless ice cream !

Oi, but of course I've been to South America, I've lived here for 30 years hahahahah. You were born here? For real? Where?

Haha endless ice cream! LOL Not America but Africa. 🇿🇦 i think you need to rest! ;)

Recently I discovered that South Africa has snow, that's really unfair. Brazil is almost in the same Latitude and we don't have.

I like clear and concrete conversations and I just can't read between lines. Really. If I don't receive specific information, I can't fulfill someone's hidden request or even read someone's intentions.

Same is with me. Reading between the lines is not my thing.
Thank You for the post!! & Good Luck for your project #mysteem.

So there are already two of us. ;) The project is now my priority so I appreciate your warm words, thank you!

I like to discover. I can easy relate to this. Talking to my nephew I told him that intelligence is just curiosity with order.

I love to find stuff hidden, in tv or cinema, making a cold read in people, in the universe itself, it is like a fractal you can find some stuff amazin in the macro, the micro all across the between. You just have to take the courage to jump to the unknown, have an open mind and some agile strategies.

You seem to be a real interesting person. Great photos by the way.

Your nephew has received valuable clue from you. I love to meet people open to the universe!
I see that you are very curious about the world. Do you share your discoveries with anyone?

I love to, with anyone that accepts the hard truths. It is sometimes dificult to find people like that.

I agree with you! Although, once you find such people, they usually stay with you for longer.

Hello @see-it-feel-it

There are many questions that make lol but I will try to answer.

Definitely what to be minimalist, yes, I consider myself like that, I do not have many things, no more than necessary. It is very particular in a woman, because they regularly carry many things in their backpacks.

I have 3 years of studies in arts, so studying the background of artistic works (painting, writing, plays, among others) is something I enjoy, looking for hidden messages is exciting. But I must say that I had never noticed the hands of Rembrandt's work, the left is clearly masculine.

Working as a group or only, I enjoy it equally, I currently work on my own, because I am a doctor, but people are always needed to perform various tasks, medicine is not an individual area, so teamwork is necessary.

Asia is a continent that I would like to know, specifically Japan, I have heard wonders of that country, and I would like to experience them.

Generally I prefer to plan what I will do, but I am always ready for the changes and if the moment deserves to improvise or not to plan, I have no problems in assuming it.

As for the question of what I would do if I had a lot of money, I would definitely do a large and immense hospital in each country that allows me, in which I could help with health problems to everyone who could.

Wow we have a lot in common! I see that you are a doctor by vocation and not by duty. I respect this approach. May I ask what is your specialty as a doctor?

I haven't visited Japan yet because it's too expensive for me for this moment but I would also like to live a little bit in this country. Will your profession allow you to have a longer vacation to enjoy such a trip?

It's great that you're flexible and able to adapt to opportunities and changes in your plans. I think this is the key to a happy life.

Hello @see-it-feel-it
Yes, my medical career is by vocation, I always wanted to be a doctor, since I was a child. It was not easy, I'm the only professional in my family, I come from a fairly humble family, and that career is somewhat costly, but there is something that can not be done with effort.
I'm a surgeon
I have been told that Japan is a great country, but expensive to live, however, at some point you could meet and see other realities. It is always worth the effort.

Wow, didn't expect that we have so many things in common! Art is Monika's part, so she has 5/5 and I 4/5 which means we should hang out together, sooner or later! About your question, we have only one answer: we'll pay for all tourists wiza for all people around the world! No more formalities for travelers, backpackers, transit etc. :)

So high-five! ;) In the future there will probably be an opportunity to meet. You have a wonderful dream, I join in!

If I had infinite money, I'd create a big organization that promotes scientific research and provides economic help to science students that needs it.

What a beautiful goal! So I wish you an unlimited amount of money ;)

Hi @see-it-feel-it, I'm @checky ! While checking the mentions made in this post I noticed that @mrproffesor doesn't exist on Steem. Did you mean to write @mrprofessor ?
