Steemit Music League Challenge S2:R12 Update

Vocalists, musicians, rappers, and producers of all kinds there is still time to get your entries in for this round of the #smlchallenge.

You have until Thursday night, June 14th at 11:59 PM EST / 4:59 AM UTC to submit your entries with the winners being announced Friday, June 15th.

With twelve (12) amazing entries in this round so far created by Steemians from all over the world, the Popular Music theme is inspiring a lot of epic entries in this round of the #smlchallenge .

Here are the details of the Steemit Music League Challenge Season Two Round #12:

All you have to do is submit an original entry based off of the theme of the round using the tag #smlchallenge and/or comment the entry on any SML Challenge posts.

This week's theme is:

Popular Music

Build off of the Greatest Hits theme, this round's theme is Popular Music,

Let's hear a new or old creation that you think appeals to the mainstream and the most people.

This can be used as an exercise to develop and try a new style of song and/or beat production or you can apply a past creation that you feel has mass appeal.

That top 40 style of popular music. This theme might push some comfort zones which is where growth occurs. Excited to see how the community takes this theme and which music they create and/or select as their "popular music."

So however this Popular Music theme resonates with you let's hear what creativity and inspiration you use to make this music that will having you upbeat and loving life.

The Community Favorite each week will be determined by the amount of upvotes, comments, views, and community support on their entry.

Round #12 of Season Two of the Steemit Music League Challenge will accept submissions until this Thursday (June 14th) at 11:59 PM CDT / 4:59AM UTC with winners being announced Friday night (June 15th).

The #smlchallenge is part of the Steemit Music League which is a community with the goal of providing the most feedback, recognition, and rewards and possible all while bringing Steemians together.

	Pitch Perfect (#pitchperfect) (Hosted by @alejandra23): A weekly challenge for original music creators.
	Bands About Bands (#BandsAboutBands) (Hosted by @ftlob): A weekly music review contest covering bands and musicians on Steemit.
	Sprout (#sprout) (Hosted by @playitforward): A contest with a seed as inspiration each week.

The winner of the Steemit Music League is determined by the amount of points earned through League contests and challenges.

Another great way to connect and interact with the community is through the SMA (Steem Music Alliance) Discord channel.

You can connect with other community members, ask questions, play music live, get feedback from community members, get beats and tracks demoed, and listen to music with others live via the SMA Discord bots.
