Learn to prepare delicious meringues "Sighs"

Who is not going to make a big sigh, one of the most loved treats for children since they are 101% sugar, something that children love, and not only them, adults can also enjoy a rich merengue in the snack time feeling like it melts in our mouth. If you feel like a rich snack do not hesitate to prepare a few sighs you will have a lot of energy and you will not get tired of consuming them.   • 1 pound of sugar
  • 8 eggs
  • ½ teaspoon of cream of tartar
  • ½ teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 Teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Coloring (liquid or powder)

1. Beat the whites of the eggs until stiff, and add the cream of tartar and the lemon juice.

2. While stirring add the sugar slowly and when the dough has firm consistency, add the vanilla, and the color (if we want to make it a special color).

3. Then in a flat greased dish, place the mixture already ready in a pastry bag, with an appropriate nozzle, and give each portion the size and shape you want, we must leave some distance between each breath so that when they grow they do not stick.

4. Place the dish in the preheated oven at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes. Then turn off and wait until it cooled before removing them to prevent crushing.

If it's our taste we can decorate with colorful sparks or chocolates, and place the meringues in pots; You can also make sighs of all colors, just because the mix of white color already ready you separate different portions in other containers and to each one you add a different color. The meringues are great companions for children's parties since they love them, I assure you that they will not leave one and each one will choose his favorite color;)
