[Poem] Your life is good
your life is good.
you probably don’t realise this
reading this poem on the touchscreen
of your phone.
your life is good.
you ate three meals today,
and probably had snacks in between.
your life is good,
when your biggest worry is
the signal of the wifi
or the percentage of your battery.
your life is good.
you have a roof over your head
and you sleep in a nice bed.
your life is good.
you probably don’t realise
how nice your life is,
but you choose to make it miserable.
smile,
say thank you.
be grateful for what you have.
you’ll never know when you might lose it.
and then look behind,
with tears in eyes you'll say
I HAD a good life!
